lucky for you because I'm a task-oriented type and my mother's a structure-oriented type. We barely get along and our personality types are complete opposites (I'm INTP, she's ESTJ)

After watching this, I've concluded that I'm in between or somewhat of a combination of task-oriented and action-oriented individual, with a little bit of a structure-oriented personality.
I'm all of those! I can be anything, if someone's afraid to ask for something at a restaurant, I'd ask for them. If someone were to ask about their drawing, I'd just say it looks great, the one I find myself more drawn to though would probably be the task-oriented type, just because I'm a diplomat who sees both sides of a story or just brainstorming in general. If I had to take a leadership role, I'd do it, and if I'm in a group project, I'd just ask everyone what they'd want to do, encourage them, and basically get things done tbh. :D
I think I'm Relationship-Oriented. This type can describe me. My parents are Action-Oriented, my sister is Structure-Oriented and my brother is Task-Oriented.

I think I'm a mix of all of them I like sticking to the rules but I have an idealistic mind and usually get lost in my imagination, I sometimes go head on into conversations but friends and family say that I'm also like an empath that always knows what's wrong and how to fix it. But if I had to choose I'd probably be more of a relationship oriented person with a bit of all of them in the side!
I most relate to the S within the STAR system though, I'm not completely devoid of emotions. Edit: After going through a spiral of these personality identification videos, I've found that I am, according to astrology, a Virgo, and according to the MBTI personality test, I was identified as an ISTJ type. I think that these sorts of videos are fun in the sense that you can find parts that you can relate to and find entertainment in.

I fall under none of these. I feel I need to do all things myself, alone, and without any external input from others. I work completely alone. I do not socialise. I am not a leader. I not a follower. I am always alone. I avoid social gatherings, being a member of a social herd, and even becoming close with anybody. If I begin to know someone, I quickly correct my behavior to make certain a connection is not made with the person that begins to become someone familiar. I am constantly thinking of ways to keep the next person I must interact with as uninterested in getting to know me as possible. I never want to depend on anybody at all. However, I also want nobody to depend on me. I value independence, self-reliance, accomplishing what must be done alone, and anonymity above everything else. I guess I fall under the miscellaneous catagory.

I disagree with both statements. We're not prisoners - unless we put ourselves in a box, which we shouldn't do. Your personality type might define the behaviors you're most comfortable with, but you still have a choice to get out of your comfort zone and try something new. And there's no such thing as a useless personality - the existence of different personality types is what keeps the society and the whole world balanced. We wouldn't have any harmony at all if everyone were the same.
I think I am the R. I am kind and like to help people, luckily, this week someone was crying and I helped them. But when people help me when I cry, I don’t like it. I just feel like no one ever cares about me. My heart is swollen. Dark as a Dark cloud. Full of no hope.

I feel like I'm a mix between S and R because I'm logical and mainly use my logical side but also very kind and I do have to admit I put other peoples needs and heath above mine (That I care about people more than myself) but the R comes in when I am with the people I trust the most who is my best friend (I have known her since I was 4 y.o) the S comes in when I am with new people or people I don't trust

This is an interesting comment. It's my first time hearing the word "Barnum effect", so I checked wikipedia about it. Even though the claims made through the experiment is by no means surprising, it still lefts me wondering as to whether or not catergorizing people by their personality type is a meaningful thing. I tend to think that a majority of people in this world share a similar personalities. It is written in our genes that we would seek recognition, show sympathy, strive for creativity, and establish structure and rule. But what really distinguishes people is the extent which they pursue those things. Surely everyone hates restrictions and limitation, but to what degree they hate it vary largely from person to person. Thus I believe those classifications of personality should pay more attention to the difference of degree, and less about difference of kind.

I like sticking to the rules but I have an idealistic mind and usually get lost in my imagination, I sometimes go head on into conversations but friends and family say that I'm also like an empath that always knows what's wrong and how to fix it. But if I had to choose I'd probably be more of a relationship oriented person with a bit of all of them in the side!

I most relate to the S within the STAR system though, I'm not completely devoid of emotions.
Edit: After going through a spiral of these personality identification videos, I've found that I am, according to astrology, a Virgo, and according to the MBTI personality test, I was identified as an ISTJ type.
I think that these sorts of videos are fun in the sense that you can find parts that you can relate to and find entertainment in.
I cannot begin where I really lean into: Task-oriented or Action-oriented. Maybe a bit of both. ❤️💪🏾

I fall under none of these. I feel I need to do all things myself, alone, and without any external input from others. I work completely alone. I do not socialise. I am not a leader. I not a follower. I am always alone. I avoid social gatherings, being a member of a social herd, and even becoming close with anybody. If I begin to know someone, I quickly correct my behavior to make certain a connection is not made with the person that begins to become someone familiar. I am constantly thinking of ways to keep the next person I must interact with as uninterested in getting to know me as possible. I never want to depend on anybody at all. However, I also want nobody to depend on me. I value independence, self-reliance, accomplishing what must be done alone, and anonymity above everything else. I guess I fall under the miscellaneous catagory.

I disagree with both statements. We're not prisoners - unless we put ourselves in a box, which we shouldn't do. Your personality type might define the behaviors you're most comfortable with, but you still have a choice to get out of your comfort zone and try something new. And there's no such thing as a useless personality - the existence of different personality types is what keeps the society and the whole world balanced. We wouldn't have any harmony at all if everyone were the same.

I think I am the R. I am kind and like to help people, luckily, this week someone was crying and I helped them. But when people help me when I cry, I don’t like it. I just feel like no one ever cares about me. My heart is swollen. Dark as a Dark cloud. Full of no hope.

I feel like I'm a mix between S and R because I'm logical and mainly use my logical side but also very kind and I do have to admit I put other peoples needs and heath above mine (That I care about people more than myself) but the R comes in when I am with the people I trust the most who is my best friend (I have known her since I was 4 y.o) the S comes in when I am with new people or people I don't trust

What makes us different is what we lean towards the most.

This is an interesting comment. It's my first time hearing the word "Barnum effect", so I checked wikipedia about it. Even though the claims made through the experiment is by no means surprising, it still lefts me wondering as to whether or not catergorizing people by their personality type is a meaningful thing. I tend to think that a majority of people in this world share a similar personalities. It is written in our genes that we would seek recognition, show sympathy, strive for creativity, and establish structure and rule. But what really distinguishes people is the extent which they pursue those things. Surely everyone hates restrictions and limitation, but to what degree they hate it vary largely from person to person. Thus I believe those classifications of personality should pay more attention to the difference of degree, and less about difference of kind.
