Chris, I love your work and you are my inspiration. Can you help me with something. When I use for example red ( World fam. ) , when I wipe I smudge everything ( I use inkeeze and after paper with little water to wipe) and make mass, and im affraid to loose stencil. Any tip is welcome . Thnx 😀👍👍
Great quality of information ❤ your the first artist 🎨 to mention your rinse cups 🥤 👏 but I'd like to actually see someone show me how they clean in-between colours..... I'm self learning for two years..... I'm my best and only customer 😂😂 I put in a new needle when I change colours coz once it didn't rinse and I got 1 colour where it shouldn't have gone xx luckily that was fake skin
Just rinse and wipe your needle. You will have some staining of colour but it won’t be noticeable in skin, and won’t mix if you’ve cleaned properly, so don’t even worry 😀
@@ChrisRavage ok sounds simple..... but when I dipped it in water , all that happened was it drew up water filling the cartridges. Then trying to drain out and repeat 4 ish times. There is something I'm missing and its so dumb 😫 I can't see it. 1 little thing would save alot of new needles. Thanks for your time 🙏 and videos 📹 😘 ❤
Great vid been waiting for this one cheers. Can I ask do you advise using pre mixed colours or just say dip in black for a darker version of a colour ? I've seen a lot of artists advise against that just dipping in black same as oil painting they say looks flat and that a premixed say dark red would also saturate better. Thing is all the bottles of different colours are certainly not cheap lol.
I personally don’t dip black often to darken a colour. I’ll use the darker colours if I have them. But you will have to mix and match brands sometimes.
Using something like hustle butter and water to wipe is better for the skin. Green soap tends to inflame the skin and make it harder to work with, especially when doing black and gray pieces. Green soap is good to use towards the end for clean-up.
Just happened to come across your videos. They're a lot of help! Was debating on paying to be a member of your channel but what are the "perks" of doing so? Just out of curiosity
Thanks Brian. I appreciate your comment. I have a Patreon which gets you access to a private discord so you can speak to me and get your questions answered, any help you need, unfiltered. That’s all for now but more perks are coming soon. Membership through UA-cam just supports the UA-cam and myself. 😬

Why not green soap pal?
Well done!
Why don't you use green soap? Maybe you have a video you spoke about it?
Water cleans down, just as good as green soap, but preserves the stencil better 😀

Nah that's a good enough perk for me! Lol. You got me sold lolol 😂
thank you for this! I have a question: why do you position the needle(cartridge space) towards you? is it a rule?
I like to keep my needle visible as much as possible for more control 😀
@ChrisRavage I agree, I hate guessing where my needle is 😭
