The max counters you were able to put on, 1,073,741,824 is 2^30-1. It's kind of a strange value. I'd expect 2^31-1, which is the max value for a 32-bit signed integer. Good on the developers for not allowing it to overflow and kill your Triplets.

    • @ericbarr734

If you cap your values at MAX/2 you know you're always safe to add two together and take the min of the result and the cap.

If I had to guess I'd probably say they have a similar cap on base creature power for the like X/X variable power creatures so that if you somehow managed to cap out both of them your creature's power would still fit in the bounds of that 32-bit signed integer.

If you keep a spreadsheet for your best of 2023 video at the ends of the year, please add the turbofog opponent playing a creature so you can burn them out. It is an immediate all-time classic.

I think I went to high school with a set of gruff triplets - they all had beards, took three different girls to prom, and wore different colored Pearl snaps to school every day. Doesn’t get much more gruff triplet than that!

Would it be better to have less mana dorks and more Utopia Sprawls? a bit more work with lands for forests i'd assume but worth since Sprawls are harder to remove than elves.

Historic is such a sweet format. There are meta decks like wizards and yawgmoth but you'll be in diamond on the ladder and see crazy shit like that turbofog deck and ridiculous combo decks like the one Seth is playing

This would be obscenely good with altar of dementia: Sacrifice a creature, opponent mills X, where X is the creatures power. Two birds with one stone.

There is one option you missed the option for Rhys the redeemed, basically without doubling season and primal vigor he could have made that many copies, with both he accelerates the deck to the Nth degree. With him being a 1 drop with a cost of 6 to trigger his tap and double each copy of your token creatures he might have fit better in this deck then add in a coat of arms and he is no longer a squishy bean.
