Zé, concordo plenamente com o que dizes. Também acho que o nível de sublimidade que Segovia imprime nesse simples e magnífico instrumento é obra de Deus. Isso só foi possível porque a condição espiritual do gênio estava de acordo com a época áurea da humanidade.
this is not in d minor. if you watch at 4.25 he plays open D Maj. At 5.11 his tonic chord is D Maj in 2nd position. At 8.04 barred A shape in 7th position, again a D Maj
Yes, this A is the most beautiful note, I agree. De Visee uses this note very artistically in his Suite in D series. It is more beautiful if played with a little vibrato and slight pause just the way Segovia plays... I play these pieces for the joy of this one note!!
1. Even non-musicians can "hear" this is in a minor key and wouldn't have to watch his hands. 2. The music has a key signature of "one flat" (guess what the relative minor of key of F is?). 3. Each tune he plays up to that part you mention begin and end in d minor--the tonic. 4. The part you mention is a little 16 bar minuet and it "is" in D major (congratulations). It is common to place a major keyed tune into a minor suite and vice versa. 5. I don't know where he got that last tune?
