What does this mean? I listened to it while taking my bath n put it on my head n I felt so much lighter thank you so much even thou I don’t understand
6abyDoll Mcloud this old traditional African Yoruba prayer every morning for your head. Head is a significant essence of your spiritual being. I can translate if you want, next time you listen to it, you should put both hands on your head and then say: Ase! Or amen in English
@@ChiefMD4governor hola, por favor podras publicar la traduccion.
Ase. Thank you for this prayer, I am at the start of my journey back to Ifa traditions many years after my West African ancestors were taken to the Caribbean, and raised me in the UK. I was raised to pray to other cultures ancestors and gods, but my Ori has guided me back to my roots. I listened to your words for the first time this morning and was moved even though i do not understand what has been said, which indicates my Ori approves. Thank you my brother.
All the 7 Orikis are a part of my daily devotions..I love these Orikis
In this year, and year to come,
You'll not place hands on the the head and wail,
May your not be denied of any sort.
I spread hands of prayers, I pray, place them on the head.
Trials with sorrow that breeds stamping of the feet in the household may not happen to anyone of us.
I call on my head, solid as a bullet,
My head, gathered to worship,
May evil not befall me, may evil not befall you.
I call on My head the solid one as a bullet, may evil not visit us at home.
My head, as solid as a bullet,
May trials or wailing hises not encounter us.
Because it is he whom has the backing of the head that live in the world and prosper with the earhens
Song:
My head, my destiny, I place you forward in the world I come after you, may I not play games in the world without winning, you better prosper on time so the wealthy would not call on you for errands.
Aşé o!
Thank you so much. Please could you share any knowledge regarding caring and cleansing. I know there are simple rituals but so unfortunately my parents didn't speak Yoruba to us and I regret that bitterly. I know a little especiaĺly amongst family

Thank you brother
The comment was regarding why we should cover heads when praying and it’s relevance. Thank you in advance
My dear Yewande,
Thanks for your patience. I have been pondering on your question since. I also put it forward to some elders.
May I let you know that Some orisa may require that you cover your head while some may not. When praying on your Ori you may not need to cover except if required.
Mostly, people uncover the head during ori worship, reason is that some materials are used like Eku etc, touching those sacrificial materials on the head in that case you will not need to cover ori.
Christians require that women cover when prophesying.
I don't know if I have been able to answer your question.
Regards

I need some help. I love this prayer so much but everytime I listening to it the top of my head kinda hurts like the middle? Why is that? Asè baba💖
Hopefully @Adeyinka Akinwande adeplayhouse, will comment soon. But wearing white cloth on your head may help and washing your head with cool water. Otherwise consult with an elder for specific help about your situation.🙏🏾
Consult your doctor first then Do the adura Ori 7, deny yourself food till 3pm if you can. .
Alguém traduz para português.
