Zontes ZT155-U1, the new adventurer in town, is stirring up a lot of curiosity. The news of Zontes releasing in Bangladesh has created polarizing opinions. Many people, who do not know much about Zontes, are saying that it will not be up to the mark as this is a Chinese manufacturer. On the other hand, people who know about Zontes are “hella” excited for the company to launch in Bangladesh. It has so far been told that Zontes will be launching three bikes in Bangladesh; the Zontes ZT155-U (streetfighter), Zontes ZT155-U1 (adventure bike), and the Zontes ZT155-G1 (scrambler).
Zontes is a Chinese manufacturer. It has been operating since 2003. Zontes is a multinational brand by now, as it is doing business in multiple countries. Zontes Bangladesh was declared in 2021. As soon as the news of their introduction to the Bangladeshi market was declared, people became really excited for the manufacturer to step foot in the country.
The Zontes ZT155-U1 is an adventure bike. As all adventure bikes do, the Zontes also have extended mudguards, raised ground clearance, upright handlebars, handguards, and good crash guards. The bike comes with a very similar design to the rumored TVS Apache Adventure bike. However, the color scheme will definitely remind you of the KTM Adventure 390.
The Zontes ZT155-U1 comes with a dual-channel Bosch ABS system, which is an extremely good addition to the bike.
The instrument cluster of the Zontes ZT155-U1 is very futuristic and advanced. The instrument cluster has basic information such as speed, odo, trip, RPM, and fuel. As additional information, the instrument cluster comes with a clock, gear position indicator, and engine temperature.
The Zontes ZT155-U1 is not as tall as regular adventure bikes, as the seat height is only 800mm. However, being an adventurer, a ground clearance of 215mm is great for the bike. The height of the bike is 1120 mm. The bike comes with a standard wheelbase of 1370 mm, an excessive length of 2005 mm, and an unsurprisingly large width of 865mm. The bike is easy to hold together with your legs due to being of proper width.
The Zontes ZT155-U1 comes with a powerful engine. The bike pumps out 18.8Hp of power at 9250rpm and 16Nm of torque at 7500rpm. The engine is electronically fuel-injected, which is very good for the fuel efficiency of the bike. The bike is also liquid-cooled, which is a huge addition to the bike. The bike is expected to have a fuel economy of around 30kmpl.
The Zontes ZT155-U1 comes with an advanced gearbox. This one has a 6-speed shifter. The gearbox is expected to be as smooth as the foreign 125cc bikes have. The top speed of this bike can be expected to be 125kmph. The bike also comes with a slipper clutch, which makes it the third bike to enter Bangladesh with a Slipper clutch.
This particular section is the most exciting of all for the Zontes ZT155-U1. Zontes ZT155-U1 is considered one of the most exciting motorcycles on the highway, and one of the reasons is the twin disc braking system with a Dual Channel Anti-lock braking system (ABS). The brakes can work well on and off-, however, it is uncertain whether the bike has an “ABS off switch” to turn the ABS off when off-. Both, the front and rear have Bosch ABS.
The suspensions are the second most exciting thing about this . The front USD telescopic forks have been tweaked to give the best performance they can give you off-. Of course, they are not as good as a dirt , but they are good enough for a weekend ride through the trails. The rear mono-shock also responds well during highway rides and even when there is baggage or a pillion. However, the USD forks may not perform the best off-.
The wheels of the Zontes ZT155-U1 is quite intriguing as they are fitted with semi-off- tires. The front tire is 110/70, while the rear tire is 130/70. The front tire size is perfect for the bike; however, the rear tire could be a tad thicker. The rear tire could have been 140/70, which would have made it the perfect bike. The bike comes with spoked wheels.

This particular does not exactly follow the rules, hence finding competitors for it is quite tough. But this is and we always find a way.
