Yes you can, but its not the best! Wait until the spores are visible on the back (black dots), then float it in water to condition it and then it should last for ages. Its not much good in the summer, better late autumn.

I love the carnations too and they have lasted ages. I think a carnation is really underestimated.
Thanks love this one, I often use Braken dry or sprayed gold but can you use it fresh, I find it wilts quickly, any tips, thank you
