Tried to close him down which was his mistake. He does it after every knockdown so the difference will be if AJ does knock Ruiz down again whether he'll continue to wear him down with the jab or try and finish it again.
i Paper people have been speculating about voodoo...not sure if you believe in that stuff but he is Nigerian and fighting a Mexican. Both known for that stuff.
It's a battle of distance. Ruiz wins by taking away the distance and getting on the inside again. He's good at doing it. But, if you watch the Parker fight, you see Ruiz struggles when he can't close the distance. If AJ stays on his toes, keeps moving, keeps that distance, he can win. He has to do an impression of Wladimir Klitschko basically. Might not be pretty but it gives him a good chance of winning.

If AJ wins and goes on to fight Wilder I can’t see sticking behind the jab working. As bad as Wilder is at boxing he always finds a way to land within the 12 rounds and AJ isn’t that hard to hit. I feel like if he went for it from round 1 against wilder it would probs be his best chance. He could walk straight onto one and get knocked out but he could also manage to land one and rock Wilder and finish him. Tbf to AJ he is a great finisher and Wilder hasn’t been hit by anyone who hits as hard as AJ hits. Aside from Ortiz possibly. And ortiz rocked him the first fight.

I wish Emmanuel Stewart was still around--RIP. Manny built Lennox Lewis and Vladimir Klitschko into monster heavyweight champions. That's the kind of guidance that AJ needs. No offense whatsoever to Rob McCracken, but if Manny Stewart had been AJ's trainer, there would be no need for a rematch.
I agree. He has the power and that's all he's needed before for the people he's faced. They all have a similar physique. Ruiz goes against that grain, a dumpy little guy with speed. I think we'll see a more aggresive, better movement from AJ and not just stand there taking hits he could avoid. Ruiz isn't a hard hitter, if AJ shows a slight bit of movement ruiz will have trouble landing, and when he does AJ should be able to shrug it off. Imo.

@@thatdude4019 lol you're in every comment replies
@@xXTopGXx stop crying , aj is not leaving it to the judges ,hes knocking the Mexican out
Look what AJ did to vlad k , dillian w , and all the others he's beat , he can beat Ruiz
😂 Basically i’ve told Josh to run round the ring and keep jabbing if Ruiz closes the gap tie him up and then run and Jab.
Don’t worry Josh Eddie is making sure we’ve chosen the ref and judges all you have to do is stay on your feet and run and we will get the win
😂😂
your right on the money
Thats the only thing im worried bout
best comment to this man however Ai think aj will ignore that and fight with ego
I also predict a very cagey performance from AJ, jabbing and holding, and the ref breaking them up every time they get close, and AJ winning by a controversial points decision
"I want to have a legacy too, like he once did" - Andy Ruiz Jr
waterlegend72 Can’t help but love the guy but someone’s gotta earn their 2nd L.
*had
Like he (did), that probably angered aj
@@Leo-yn5fx what do u think will happen if they draw..? I'm watching it live at a party and I'm nervous af just watching it. AJ has been a role model for me since I started boxing
waterlegend72 so say the master of mind games himself.
Aj is gonna knock Ruiz out in the 3rd round. Mark my words
Ok I'm gonna mark these words and come back.
Will you reply.
Oz then I’m gonna mark your words and come back
he already knocked him out in the 3rd round.. but Ruiz got back up and him out 4 tines in the 3rd, and 7th
Ruiz gonna win VIVA Mexico cabrones
Imagine needing some inspiration and then getting this zombie in your corner.
Exactly this guy is as dull as a dirty dish cloth.
Maybe he’s not a great hype man, but he stays level headed. Would much rather have someone to keep me calm and checked in my corner.
Twat..... Same guy that's been in his corner since the amateurs....... What a stupid comment..... Once again another bell end comments who knows Jack diddly squat about boxing..... Muppett
Crash bang Wallop Agree mate
I'd rather have someone that knows what he's talking about in my corner than some jumped up hype job, are you American by any chance? as it would explain a lot.
Come on aj ❤️🙏🏽
He needs to clinch and move. Backup or move sideways after every big hit. Train hard in the desert.
shut your face you worthless dosser
AJs career is ova.....done with
I hope and pray AJ wins HIS belts back also
AJ wins by brutal knockout between rounds 6 to 8-- I see another Groves- Froch 2 loading- AJ is going to take it to Ruiz and he will leave it all in the ring- In 5 days time it will all be settled---
That's what he needs to do. Just lay into ruiz. Don't give him time to think. Ruiz isn't a hard hitter, his record tells us that. His combos is what got him the win last time. Honestly, I think ruiz just got lucky last bout and is out his league.
@@kisuant1217 Ruiz may not be a hard puncher his knockout record certainly suggests that,or maybe AJ just can't take a punch...there is definitely evidence to suggest that.
DELTA VIVA Andy is winning this scrub.
DELTA VIVA $100 cash app
@@simongb7897 it's not that he can't take a punch. The only people to floor him is vlad and ruiz. If anyone gets hit enough by combos they'll go down. If AJ moves, which I think he will looking at his physical changes then I can't see this being an issue.
STAY ANGRY😡
KEEP HUMBLE☺️
WE LOVE YOU AJ🥊
@king trailblazer I wouldn't say Ruiz is an elite fighter he doesn't get that status
@Relationship Nullifier just another prick🖕🇬🇧
@Relationship Nullifier everyone else doesn't think so Ruiz is actually the underdog
@king trailblazer I agree, lots of people talk about styles make fights, but none of them mentioned what styles they talked about ? Ruiz is boxer fighter Vs Joshua, who is a boxer. Ruiz could be a bogeyman , who knows in da weekend, we will learn which of tis 2 styles is da best may da best man win
@@vee950He is an elite boxer. has box since he was a kid. Made the world Champion quit by completely out boxing him. If Ruiz isn't an elite boxer than AJ never deserved to be champion
Andy is laughing, if AJ beats him surely he can ask for a trilogy? 🤑
Errr Why? AJ gave Ruiz the opportunity to fight for a title. Ruiz wasn't mandatory for ANY belt.
ptb2008 Because your boy got knocked the fuck out, one win against Ruiz isnt gonna do it when u quit in your american debut
That's not in the contract. It's a two fight contract if AJ lost the fig.
An eventual trilogy would be nice
There are bigger fights out there now though
Wilder
Fury
Whyte also is interesting
Razeen Uddin Ure gona need to offer windmill about $500 billion to fight aj after all those offers he kept turning down 😂 like $120 million isn't enough the dumb yank coward 🦆🦆🏃🏃
Cmon
if Joshua wins this he will get more fans than before
Like AJ
Comment: Ruiz
I wish Emmanuel Stewart was still around--RIP. Manny built Lennox Lewis and Vladimir Klitschko into monster heavyweight champions. That's the kind of guidance that AJ needs. No offense whatsoever to Rob McCracken, but if Manny Stewart had been AJ's trainer, there would be no need for a rematch.
Can we have some parliamentary procedure
@Bles Yeah it does dun it, parliamentary procedure and a bottle of echo falls
Be safe
Needs work on foot work head movement desperately AJ
Imo.
@@kisuant1217 I think AJ has come to that conclusion too, hence the weight loss. I have no doubt if he brings his A game and has genuinely learnt he can bring those belts home
Lou dog Theoretically he’s fought wayyyy more difficult opponents, he’s ready, he’s not taking anything for granted. he wants this win, he’s fired up. The belts are going home
Ooooh can you be my boxing coach ? Some people on UA-cam 😂😂
@@WishMount really do hope he wins and born UK and grown up here myself just need stop being skit zed and go though him with nothing but movement and combos fingers crossed AJ round 2
Imagine if his first name was phil!! 🤪😂
😂😂 thats good!
😭😭😭 Good thing it didn't occur to his father to name him so.
When the penny dropped I died 😂
Rob my kraken is kinda just as bad lmao
-TruthSeekerUK- I don’t get it bro, can you explain, Phil McCracken?
