I am so blessed from listening to just Part’s 1 and 2. I don’t have much money, but I felt I needed this “ Focus On The Family “ special uplift. $30 well spent . Especially after listening to James Dobson 5 day’s a week for what seems half a century in the trucking industry.
We are big fans of AIO and Focus on the Family. Last night my 7 yr old son asked me how we can KNOW the Bible is really true. I pulled out a book that referenced scripture, books by Answers in Genesis that explores evidence, and Rosebooks resources. Then today I saw this two part series at the top of my youtube. Answered prayers.
Always great shows. This is a great summary and relation to today. The younger generation needs to hear this. It could answer questions and give proof they need to see because of the ways society and government has allowed all the stuff that desensitized them. Prayers!
I watched all of the first videos of Answers in Genesis and love the fact that it is based on science and shows how reliable the Bible is but I also love the fact that all ethnic groups are more closely related than we think. It confirms suspicions I have had as a history teacher. My husband was born and raised in El Salvador as was his mom; but she looked like the sister of elderly ladies in Honolulu dancing the hula hula.
Gary Habermas is a historian who studies the New Testament and has made an excellent defense for the Resurrection that most of us Christians accept by faith. I think he’s also a philosopher. I think I learned about him when Sean McDowell interviewed him.
Great stuff but there is no "proof" there is just a lot of very strong evidence. "Proof" happens in the mind of the person being persuaded - or not - and Mr. Wallace makes that clear. Our job, of course, is to present the gospel, which is God's offer of reconciliation, and then evidence to those interested in being reconciled. For those who don't want to be reconciled, no amount of evidence is sufficient, regardless of how compelling that evidence may be. BTW I have read both of Wallace's books and they are outstanding.
