I spent MONTHS practicing. 1-hour of aim train, 1-hour of mechanics (jump spots etc and floating around with Jett), then 1-hour on a map theory (1 map, each day of the week) and in the end... I totally forgot to PLAY. All that external work was killing my love for the game. It became WORK. So I have 1 post-it note on my monitor. "Just PLAY". Emphasis on play meaning... fun, be goofy, light-hearted and enjoy for the video game that it is.
This game mode would effectively remove every duelist from Ranked / Unrated cuz lets be honest... all we wanna do is kill! This game mode would also be called "Counter-Strike" (jk!) hahahah!
Great video man ! as a new player I've been just watching as many guides as possible and I felt that taking away some of the fun, this had a great effect on my mental when it comes to playing the game !
I learned in Counter-Strike that you should never use 100% of your power because if the enemies start trying super hard then you're just tapped out. I give like a good 85-90% and that gives me headroom to push myself further when needed. If you're always maxing yourself out you'll just burn out.
You are not coping, all you have said is right, all you gotta do is stop stressing out and just trust the process. Theres really nothing else you have to do.
i noticed that too, when i dont care abt my performance or rank as much, I usually get better outcome, like getting a nice 4k with 1 vandal clip, while I would usually panic and reload, I am calm, hit the headshots and stuff works
Been playing cs for almost 7years, and valorant for only 2years. I dont think i can take this type of Genre anymore, i had my time of competing in games, now im just trynna enjoying my gaming time by being a casual/variety gamer
i just got out of 3 consecutive games of nonstop throwers... first game my jett kept jumping off abyss, second game the thrower was on the other team and gave us a free win, and the third game was 3 people on my team that didn't want to "play abyss" but declined every time we tried to ff
All true, another thing people never want to do is take a REAL break from the game. Not 1 or 2 days but 1 - 2 weeks. Every time I grind ranked for a full season I always go into the next season taking the first 2 weeks off and just play causal story games. When I come back I play so much better than I did prior to the break and helps prevent me from getting burnt out on the game. I also cutoff the Valorant content in those two weeks as well.
Yep, Due to doing that I discovered the very good series of Fears to Fathom. I recommend trying it out, The first game is free and the rest are pretty cheap (5 dollars on steam or smth
Definitely you are at that point where I'm rn. I have been playing since 2½ years my aim was to reach the diamond then ascendant came and I raised the level a bit. Well even though there hasn't been anything new in the game, the thing that kept me bonded was the experience of improving. I'm at my peak (immo) rn, I don't even care about rank anymore. Well as they say "Life is about journey, not the destination".
the quote you mentioned is a common anime thrope. care free mc but gets stronger everytime. while the counterpart says/promises to be stronger but falls short. eg goku/vegeta , saitama/sonic, ippo/miyata
I do agree with everything tbh,I can’t even play comp because of the people that get into my games oh and they are adding a replay system they announced it
I played higher level CS for a hot minute and tbh it never felt as bad as the way Valorant feels currently. I uninstalled, which kinda sucks when I think about how much money I spent on skins. Hopefully it gets better over time, even though Riot Community is kinda ehhhhh.
You will get bored of every game eventually. Part of it is to do with aging because you know what to expect in the games you play. Kids have a different mindset.
ranked is just boring in valorant. like what is the difference between immortal or silver? i have a red badge on my screen instead of silver one? wooowwww, am I gonna flex with it irl? no. besides a badge in the main menu i get nothing out of it. "well you get a weapon charm/buddie"... really? thats my reward from playing a ranked? sweating my ass of? a stupid little thingy around of my weapon? and that variants from the rank? a charm? like other games have soooome much better ranke rewards, in r6, weapon charm, a banner, packs to open, apex, badge, banner, dive trail, spray, rocket leauge (depending on the season), title, wheels, boost, camo Valorant need to step up their game to make ranked relevant, especially the rewards. In like maybe a calling card, knife skins, classic skin, a spray, a title, extra radiant points, extra kingdom credits... not just a stupid charm for my weapon
The ranks are quite meaningless past diamond. Also there is luck in every game no matter what. If you look at the tracker of people who have a 2-3 k/d ratio in your game, they always have 0.3 k/d games frequently as well.
@@RealSmashem No skill difference from diamond up for most players. (Not including radiant, these players are exceptional). Most ascendants and immortals are just lucky diamonds with a higher win rate.
I mean most of the time i can tell whether someone is diamond or ascendant or immortal by how they play. There is a difference in skill level, and the difference is pretty big between diamond and immortal.
There is no way that you said they have been doing a job of adding content you cant deny that💀 to round it up they give us a agent and map every ones in a while thats fun for about 3 days and for the rest they scam us with a battlepass that you cant buy again after completing & overpriced skins… and ig you get also get a rank buddy that is always the same except the number. There aint no content here brother like yea they did add tdm a while ago but they also took replication out and other stuff so in general nah we aint getting any content

Yeah i relate to that a lot. At the end of the day its just a game that is meant to be fun. So try to have fun or just dont play it.
tbf people will always call games "dead", as someone who played cs 2015-2023 i got to hear the game was dead every year, month and week of me playing
I'm just getting into valorant until 2hko comes out. I hope it doesn't die
Another game mode they could add is team death match but no abilities so it's closer to actual DM

AMAZING VIDEO DEADASS this made me have a complete 180 on the day and im hyped to play now ngl

Maybe they add a premier mode like in csgo so we can ban maps ffs

How are they meaningless past diamond? I think that’s the only elo where the game is played how it’s meant

Lol the game is not dead tbf, more like a lot of people are burnout because they play same game over and over again.
