Hey Funky, just reviewing your video. I want to know 2 things having a bit of an issue. 1st is the lighting, on the initial startup (same map) using the 'Jensen Range - GEO' my lighting is all dark until I add in directional lighting. Is there a possibility to have the natural lighting come in? 2nd I am having an issue as well with the background of the sky Imagery, it seems to leave the sky black completely even after adding in directional lighting it looks awkward. Just want to see any alternative solutions. Thanks! Edit: I figured out that you can drag and drop just as you would for the lighting into the project by searching 'sky' under 'content browser' came up with it properly. Plus I think the latest Jensen map release is bugged not sure if its like that for everyone but I suspect. I feel as if I should delete this comment but thank you for creating this video! An up-to-date video would do well!
I know this is a REALLY late reply, but for anyone who might run across this video and have the same question, the GEO maps have no lighting. Use maps from the GAMEPLAY_LAYERS/ subdir in the map's directory to get fully lit environments
Currently been having issues regarding the SDK and my current setup. That compounded with RL has prevented me from releasing more. After I sort that all out I'll be sure to continue the series.
@@funkyducke I totally get it man, just wanted to throw some love / motivation your way. I'm looking into trying some animation stuff so I stumbled across this.
Nice tutorial, wanted to discover the SDK, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Thank you for this, Funky. This is spot on. Going to start making my own sequences to expand my channel soon. Keep 'em coming.
Note: At 2:43 I missed a crucial step.
To open the level sequencer click on the cinematics in the top tab and Add New Level Sequence
When We would have how to set up cameras ?

Your video really helped out a lot, thanks so much!
I'm glad! No problem!
on 10:30 you set his rotation, but as soon as I press play it goes back to the original rotation
Does the value in the right-sidebar revert to its original version when you press play?
@@funkyducke Yea! I solved it now, by setting the rotation when you set to not set the rotation just yet. Then it works :)
@@Sharpless512 Sweet! Glad its solved
Hey man, what happened to the follow up tutorials
