- In this tutorial we introduce you to one of the most valuable and underrated skills in the game. A skill that separates an amateur player from a pro. Handling rims and picking the puck up off the boards is an invaluable skill in the D zone as a winger or a defensemen holding the puck in at the offensive zone blue line. Focus on these tips and take your game to the next level.
man. you help me so much. I never comment, but I always mean to come back.
Love your way of delivering the information clearly and concisely. you the man!
This is the most astoundingly simple explanation that improved my effectiveness on the offensive blue line. I see that most of your videos were made in 2016. I hope that you guys continue to make videos that even most good players couldn't tell you how to do but do instinctively.
This guy is so focused. Its very easy to engage and buy into what they are teaching.
Another fantastic video. Great content that never gets coached, good detail and excellent clear presentation. Thank you MHH
Thanks Lorenzo, keep tuning in as we keep ramping things up next week!
Good advice on retrieving puck off the board! Will use at next practice
Love these videos guys! I'm a head coach for Chelmsford Massachusetts 10U team and I've actually implemented a few of these things into our practices throughout our season so far. Most notably the edge work drill around the circle. Loved that one!
I tend to play left wing...as a right hand shooter. I like to take the puck off the wall...on the forehand...although I would really like to master stopping it with my skates....or on the backhand...as I would be doing as a right winger.
love your videos! you guys talk about a lot of great stuff that gets overlooked elsewhere. -hockey fan in Alabama,
Great video. Nobody talks about this part of the game and it’s so important!
Just found your channel, great videos! This skill is seldom taught so great job creating content on it. What are your thoughts on using your skate to back up your stick in the offensive end, like a power play rim you need to stop and protect?
Great job guys. I'm passing this info on to my kids and other players and coaches.
excellent, clear, voyce ,very good demonstrations .
Nice vid. Any tips for receiving the pass on the back hand? Also, best get away technique when you have someone pressing you against the boards when you get that pass???
Great job...never thought about hand placement before....vital!
Do you have a part 2?
Thank you! I feel like recently i am playing too scared with the puck and it's causing me to stop scoring and limiting my playing ability. This should help me make better plays
Good vid! Thanks
Way to go coach !
The p28 curve (mcdavid) is really bad for this. I think its from the weird dual lie
Obere hand hoch damit kelle aufs eis und puck kontrollieren und vor der puckannahme hinter mich gucken und gucken was vorne passiert
dude this was a great video.
Good tips, but I couldn't help to notice the guy in the white jersey shooting and not using his top hand properly with a coach standing right beside him.
that's a nice purple jersey, where can I get one?
Jeffrey JeffreyFLF most likely the Fischtown Pinguins team store.
Nice job boys
This is good, but then the puck is bouncing or is rimmed high then this isn't going to work.
I think i went to high school with mike moore haha
Interesting choice for a title
Can i join
this really isnt the way you should be taking passes man, you turn around to get out of the zone and at a high level of hockey you are getting blasted
you always gotta be moving this is just the basics to transition into a play
Taught not teached. Lol
