Jimmy, on my launch scan tool, DPF pressure is better off reading as "Delta pressure" for a more accurate live data output. as you say, "DPF pressure" just reads 10hpa at a time. delta reads the entire range on JLR cars
Great job, Jimmy! And on a brand that is on its way to extinction! What a shame! People who own a real Jaguar should hold them dearly - there wont be a replacement for them.
Regular mechanics are just wrench monkeys. They only change parts if you instruct them to. Ive gone to about 8 different places and no one does an inspection or diagnosis properly. Makes specialists able to charge the earth.
because they are not trained in troubleshooting. Most are Technicians and in short that means a fitter. It's the same in most engineering sectors these days!!
Jimmy is good to see you putting videos back on here more frequently , keep them coming.
Great example of fault finding as opposed to firing the parts cannon at the car 👍

Lovely motor that. What your crafter mileage now Jimmy?
Around 270,000 miles
Not being funny butwhy cant regular mechanics do logical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve the issue?

Not many garages troubleshoot any more , unless thay can see the problem it just gets ignored.

Nope!
They're mechanics, not technicians.
