LIVE: Senate resumes inquiry on Alice Guo, POGO ties | Sept. 24

HAPPENING NOW: The Senate of the Philippines committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality joint with Migrant Workers; and Public Order and Dangerous Drugs resume its inquiry on dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo and its involvement with the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO).
Guo was allowed by the Pasig City Regional Trial Court (RTC) to stay at the custodial facility of the PNP at Camp Crame in Quezon City pending the resolution of her motion to reconsider the custody order. Guo is under detention on arrest order issued by the House of Representatives on contempt citation.
