Your finishing is amazing! And of course all of your fabulous stitching on samplers too! Thanks for sharing everything , especially when just on the mend.
As usual, it was an awe-inspiring, inspirational, and aspirational visit with you. I loved all the samplers and Christmas stitching. The 12 days of Christmas berries were especially gorgeous "in person." I hope you're fully recuperated now. Take care 'til next time.
Wow. Another showstopper. I haven’t finished anything. Too scared. You amaze me how fast you stitch and how you tackle your finishing. Beautiful stitching. Liz, Florida
Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I enjoy both the stitching and the finishing. Some of the finishing I find intimidating, but I try and break it down to baby steps and pause if I find it complicated . Walk away and pick it back up a few days later. Happy stitching, Nerissa
Hopefully that cough goes away very soon. Loved visiting seeing your stitching with some I’ve on the go as well. Also some stitching temptations. Blessings and happy stitching.
You are amazing, and so inspirational! It’s probably a good thing you don’t stitch Halloween because if you did, there would be even more to be envious of. lol. I can’t wait to see your progress on Jane Cowey, you will love stitching those beautiful colors! I’m going to be finally getting mine framed soon! Finally!❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Carol. I started Jane Corey last night and I am working on the boarder. I can not wait to see yours framed. Happy stitching,Nerissa ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for taking the time to show all of your stitching. It is just beautiful!!! This summer I started at the beginning and caught up on all of your videos. Your samplers and Christmas stitching are so inspiring. I hope you feel better soon!
Went to the first Toowoomba Spring Stitchers retreat last weekend that Nicola helped organise. She had her shop there too. Her new fabric colours are to die for! A black called Witchy, a great goldish sampler colour Regency Gold. Bought a lot of her 40ct and 46ct misdyes. Leona ( stitches models for HATS) did her first ever pattern release from an antique sampler she purchased from HATS. It's sooo pretty. I too adore Nicola's fabrics. Like decrepit too plus she had one called Mossy Pot that was interesting. Get well soon. Love watching all your stitching ❤.
Thank you. I am so pleased that you enjoyed your retreat, I shall be purchasing some of Nicole’s new fabric very soon- they are all so beautiful. Happy stitching, Nerissa

If glad to hear you’re feeling better. I’m always stunned by the amount of stitching you manage to do and it’s beautiful. I’m just plodding along on my sampler and I must be very slow! I wish I was quicker but I enjoy my stitching so don’t mind. Thanks as always for sharing your stitching and for inspiring me. 😁

I have been trying to decide on a 12 Days of Christmas series to do and seeing your Erica Michaels berries I think they are what I will stitch. Beautiful stitching.
Sorry to hear you’ve been so unwell, there’s so many germs in Christchurch at the moment, and you are right in the centre of retail germville you poor thing. Glad to see you got some time to stitch while laid up though! - take care, Nic x
I really look forward to visiting with you on your stitching journey! Really liked the strawberries and how you had arranged them in the glass stemmed bowl. Question: how do you attach the cording onto all the oval and round ornaments? They are perfect!
Glad you are feeling better. I so enjoy watching your videos. Can you tell me the name of the sampler over your left shoulder? It has a house, basket and swan right up the middle. I would really like to try that one.
Thank you. The sampler with the swan, basket and house is called ‘the smith sampler’ by the Scarlett House. It is a wonderful sampler to stitch. Happy stitching
You have done well with your Christmas finishes, they all look so good! Do you make a long long piece of cord then somehow knot it and cut pieces off for each decoration, or do you make a smaller cord just for each separate decoration? If you do smaller ones, how do you work out long the lengths of starting thread need to be?
Hi Hilary, I make individual pieces of cord for each ornament. If my cording is only going around the outside I use the circumference of the ornament x3. If I am adding a hanger , I do circumference x4. Hope this helps. Happy stitching
Thanks so much for your lovely shout-out! I appreciate it!
Love your stitching and enjoy your FlossTube so much! 🙂
Thank you so much Karen, you inspire me with all that you stitch on. Happy stitching
