This guy is a legend we celebrate tesla and facebook success but these guys who made infosys, UPi go unnoticed , i really have faith in nandan nilkeni sir he will revoutionize indian digital journey to a level that whole world will follow our footsteps
Nanadan Nilekani:- This Guy contested in MP election from Bangalore South ( one of the most educated, soft power of bharathiata, decent people's constituency of the India) Congress party against Young Energetic Guy Tejasvi Surya of BJP & he lost it...! 1) GST has very worst software by him even today it's has many problems. IGST refund was major crisis in GST so BJP lost many seats in Gujarat, one of the largest manufacturer- export hum, even from Tamilnadu also. Now somehow it's partially solved.! 2) Aadhaar:- most eagerly awaited biometric system but still it's not been utilised except 'identify' that too have lot of drawback one person getting 2 Aadhaar card..! So its a failure of Biometric..! All Infosys founders are minted money & politicans blessings..! Congress was a pioneer in capturing these business men...
Fabulous. There are a few people who sacrifice their self for the society. Nandan is that rock, who has polished into a Glistening Diamond !!! Over time he has made his mark.
We all know about Nandan and his clarity on all issues he addresses ....But this young journalist came as fresh breath of air in the noisy world of present journalism .Well done lady one thing hopefully you picked up from meeting great folks like Nandan is to stay so grounded !
Yeah. Those who go after finance freedom rarely get it. Those who focus on their work with scale in mind, usually get it (without actively planning for financial independence)
Excellent interview Chandra. You are fortunate to interview a remarkable man with a vision and proven track record.Gratifying to hear Nandan is positive
Great Interview. Mr. Nilekani has added so much value to India, with his leadership of Adhaar, UPI, ONDC. Almost every citizen has/will be positively impacted by the work he and his team has been doing. I am not even considering the value Infosys has brought to India. People in the future will remember Mr. Nilekani just like they do JRD Tata. Wish him a long and healthy life.
Very true All these are gaming changing UPI is still a dream for developed countries The best part of UPI is we can build additional software & entrepreneurs can add value to the customer
What a down to earth response by a Genius . This new generation patriot's contribution for digital India is amazing. Kudos to the Interviewer for her casual and pleasant presentation of questions.
What an insightful interview.Without going ga ga find how he narrated India's digital revolution for which he owes a lot of credit.I find him a true visionary who should be listened more by our policy framers.
Excellent points by NandanNilekani👍 especially, about the Livability of Urban environment in Indian Cities. Urban Housing Planning, incorporating Natural Landscape within the Residential and Commercial spaces and best practices in Waste Recycling and Sustainable Energy policies. India does hv a long way to go in this. This is important to attract Youngsters to want to live and settle in Indian cities, rather than go abroad and not returning.
Great interview!! Nandan is adding so much value to the country.. it’s fantastic. The interviewer did a good job buy one suggestion which would come with maturity is avoid asking for specific startup / founder names etc. you won’t and should not get answers for such questions and hence why ask. Overall great job!!
salutations all the way. our beloved country needs you and a panel of experts like you to take us forward and achieve the goals that are envisaged. good luck. vande mataram.
As always , its a great pleasure to listen to any sort of interaction, be it brief or detailed one, with Nandan. His thought process is so clear , uncluttered and he unnecessarily doesn't use jargon etc., conveys his views in such a simple manner and above all no air about him & so grounded, despite such a track record of achievements & thought leadership be in private or public indusyry space. We are lucky to have such people. Thanks to MoneyControl & lady as an interviewer too did a good ⁷.
Yes, He is hero. But remember brother, there are a great bunch of still billioners collaborated with top politicians and funneling public treasure to those billioners' purses!
Undoubtedly Nandan is a great asset to the country. And luckily for us the govt sagely valued him and used his services despite his standing for election from a party which is its bête noire. The refreshing change here is the interviewer. Articulate, fast talking, very good questions, ( contrast with the dumb repetitive questions one lady asked FM Jaishankar arrogantly and permanently entered history books for bringing disrepute to an interviewer’s profession). She is a breath of fresh air for sure.
My takeaways : 1) The growth in next 20-25 years in India would be more equitable as the wealth will not come from natural resources or commodities but because of people and as more and more people will become skilled, the economy will grow even more. The theme would be the transfer from informal sector to formal sectors.
If agricultural growth and modernization happens India will sustain its growth along with equitable distribution. Why can't we have people like him in politics..
We do. He is not officially a politician, but unofficially he is involved in the background work for GST, UPI, ADHAAR, crypto regulations, and a bunch of other things
INDIA IS A STRONG, SECULAR AND LARGEST DEMOCRACY IN THE WORLD BECAUSE INDIANS ARE SPECIALLY BLESSED, TALENTED, SMART, HARDWORKING, HONEST, TRUE PATRIOT AND HUMBLE.
Nanddan sir, awesome.... India need more people like you... it's nice to hear you...sir please think about education...and cost effectively address the issue.... otherwise education institues take away all people money...
thanking wont be enough........but still i would.......thanks to money control for being the interface between thoughts of Mr.Nandan Nilekani and me.............his thoughts, ideas, and perspectives are superpowerful and enriching............thank u sir for being here and sharing ur thoughts............
So very true that the reason cities lack infrastructure is because local municipalities are inefficient and working independent of state and central government. For a common tax paying citizen what matters is having a road in front his house, clean water supply and electricity and unfortunately we still struggle to have those basic facilities.
I wish, as a Senior Citizen Professional, not only Appreciative of the Personality Sri Nandan Nilankeni, but hopefully be in touch for Proactively Supportive of Innovative Initiative Sooner !
