  • In this Physics video lecture in Hindi for class 12 we explained eddy current and the cause of this current. This current is created due to electromagnetic induction. In a space of changing magnetic field the magnetic flux associated with a coil also changes and, according to Faraday's second law of electromagnetic induction, it creates induced emf, which in turn creates induced current in the coil. This induced current is known as eddy current. The direction of this current can be determined by the Lenz's law.

    It might not be the best question to ask but I recently studied Ac motor(Induction motor) where I got to know continuous changing field induces Eddy current.what really confused me was as the magnetic field of stator kept changing it produced absolutely no effect on the magnetic field produced by the Eddy current as if it had induced permanent poles.The north and the South Pole of the induced Eddy current kept moving towards the magnetic field of the stator but could've simply reversed their field to counteract the change of field.why does that not happen?
    .I hope you can help me with it

    Sir if the current are flow in a direction I. e. the positive charge direction and the electron are flow in its opposite direction then at a time why not it becomes neutral
