Jazak ALLAH. Sir how to use 'not' between two clauses? E g. He scolded his son for not wearing shoes and sitting properly. Or he scolded his son for not wearing his shoes and for not sitting properly??

AOA sir, how are you? This is Faisal from Nowshera(kpk). I want your consideration on a question if you don't mind. Sir, should we not leave a comma connecting two main or independent clauses with any of the fanboy's conjunctions? e.g
The ship hit the rocks, and it sank to the bottom of the sea. (suggested)
Or
The ship hit the rocks and it sank to the bottom of the sea. (your)
Last
The ship hit the rocks and sank to the bottom of the sea. (suggested and seems to be corrected)
The last sentence has one clause followed by two prepositional phrases connected by the conjunction 'and'; however, no comma.
