Het nummer "Dirty Ol' Man" van de groep The Three Degrees werd in 1973 uitgebracht,en was goud in Nederland en Belgie, door de dames; Fayette Pinkney , lead zangeres Valerie Holiday, en Sheila Ferguson. (De groep heeft meerdere samenstellingen gekend in de periode van 1963 tot heden).

Just WOW...Three Degrees was a great group but O'G3NE is just far and above better. Their harmonies are so tight...just amazing, plus all three can equally sing lead vocals, but together they are just unstoppable.
I’m sorry these ladies sound awesome but they are nothing like the originals. The three Degrees killed this song and add the right disco flavor to it. These ladies have modernized it some and like I said sound amazing. But they do not tip the Degrees.

Who is the guy they sing it for ? He is making hilarious faces. The girls are amazing: super harmony and they are beautiful, especially the blonde one.
They did a nice job. However, The 3 degrees were one of those groups that could be imitated but never duplicated by anyone. Valerie, Sheila, and Fayette RIP were the best. Their vocal chops, stage presence, and appearance were other worldly. Genre aside, it's like when a band tries to play Led Zeppelin's music. They might come very close, but it will never have the magic of the real thing. Just my thoughts
