Pretty scary how OP Yoriichi is, because in the manga, Yoriichi didn't used his breathing when he fought the second most extremely powerful demon of the series
No he used breathing, he just didn't use a form of sun breathing , although the way he attacked seemed to imply he's using some kind of specific sword movement with his knees raised upward but it wasn't sun breathing or anything

yea i know! the animation is really good, he definitely put a lot of effort into this.
it is good, but have you watch what kind of fan animation meople make? most of the action happend around 1/4 of the video, and even then it was nothing to amazing. i'm not saing i could do better, just the fact that is kind of overrated

literally 0 action animation here, there's literally a guy that made animations for zenitsu vs kaigaku, kokushibou vs gyomei/sanemi/genya/muichirou and it's infinitely better

1:06 That transition of Old Yoriichi into Prime Yoriichi for a moment was so badass. It wasn't in the manga but you did a great job capturing what Kokushibo felt when he saw an 80 yo Yoriichi attacking one last time as if he was in his prime. Normally I don't say this but I really really want Ufotable to make the official version just like this part.

I like the irony how the Yoroichi type zero had six arms to try to replicate his movements and how Kokoshibo had six eyes to keep up with his movements.
Yet they still couldn't replicate or keep up with his movements
this is why i love d.s fan animation. some of them can follow that ufotable look on the character down to perfection. from the color grading used, to the body proportions (cause the one in manga sucked), to the art style. everything about this fan animation is perfect. i love this.

the fact that yorrichi had to create a 13th perfected form of sun breathing for muzan and he still got away, but for upper 1 he didnt even use a form really shows how big the difference between muzan and the other demons is
Yeah against Kokushibo the 2 strongest hashira with a bit of help from others were able to deal with him, but against Muzan it took all of the remaining Hashira and the poison from Tamayo to be able to kill him and even then he took out most of them

Because he still loves his little brother, imagine if he uses the 13th Form againts Kokushibo there will be no Upper 1 Demon in Arc Village / Infinity Castle.
He created the 13th form because of all the hearts and brains in muzans body, kokushibu was still limited to human anatomy.

One of the most moving sounds in demon slayer is when Rengoku stabs Akaza in the neck even with a 🍩 in his torso..
And I’m glad to say that theme truly delivers the same power here.
