I love love watching your videos and the hearing the positivity word !! I’m a newbie 😀 pray one day I got this epoxy down and the creativity side of me too.
Courtney, you’re so creative! Thank you for all of your videos and I love learning from you! I’ve attempted my own version of this tumbler but have ran into some complications and I’m hoping you can offer some help on correcting them: right off the bat, spray paint clogged , causing a rough texture on one area of the tumbler (can this be sanded?). Issue #2….some of the adhesive from my vinyl stuck to my tumbler(can this be removed with alcohol or adhesive remover without removing the paint?) Issue #3…I have a few small scratches from removing my vinyl (is there a way to cover them?). Please tell me my mistakes can be corrected and I don’t have to scrap this tumbler🤞 Thank you so much for your help!
Hi!! Thank you so much. So for your issues, yes the rough paint can be sanded. But if you’re adding glitter over it, it won’t matter too much anyway. For the adhesive try rubbing it away with 91% rubbing alcohol and a paper towel. And as for the scratches try adding some acrylic paint to them and after epoxy it should blend pretty well. Or you could go as far as adding epoxy. Then when it’s cured taping off everything except for the scratches and spray painting over it then epoxy again! Hope this helps
👋🏾 Courtney cute cup. Especially the glowing ghosts! I’m new and have a question about double glittering. If I wanted to use a glitter using mod podge after placing the peekaboo decals & spray painting, what would be my next step?
Thank you! Okay so here’s a little hack. I would suggest after placing all the decals and spray painting, put a dab of hot glue in the middle of each decal. Let it dry and then cover the tumbler in mod podge and glitter. Give it about 15 minutes and then remove the decals. I say to add hot glue because once you cover the tumbler in glitter you’re going to lose sight of your decals! So the ball of hot glue will help you be able to find them easily
@@CourtneysCustoms Thanks for the response. The hot glue worked great! It looks good so far, going to be adding epoxy soon. I hope I can get a good smooth top coat 😊
That cup of positivity today 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 currently workin on something similar and I’ve been trying to decide whether to put some helix style glitter in the top coat that’s gonna be a yes lol
I am new to tumblers and I’m trying to find a better epoxy (I’ve just been getting from Michaels) I want to order what you have linked. How many tumblers on average do you think you get out of the gallon?
@@CourtneysCustoms thank you. By the way I did the tree tumbler the other day. And I have never been more proud of myself. It came out beautiful!! You are amazing. Thank you so much for showing us how to do amazing things. My step daughter wanted to make one so we did one with window clings. It’s also awesome. I’ve only made and sold a few cups so far. Trying to start something to help pay for our wedding. With your guidance I know I will be on my way soon.

Thank you so much! Just keep practicing 💜
@@CourtneysCustoms I will Courtney. Any recommendations on which method to use while I practice?
@@pamelawright4054 I suggest the mod podge method but that’s just me. Do some basic full glitter and glitter ombre tumblers and go from there💜
@@CourtneysCustoms Ty Courtney for the advice.
I absolutely love that white.
Ahhhh me too it’s my favorite!!
Omggg your little ghostie guys are too cute, they remind me of marshmallows!!!

Thank you!! You can use any color you want!! I just wanted my ghosties to be white lol
@@CourtneysCustoms ok thanks a lot I was asking because silver moon is flaky
Precious! It would make a cute kid’s cup. Even the saying would work for a kid!

I know it depends on what your trying to cover. On how many coats. But just a cereal average. Please and thank you.
Oh gosh umm maybe around 40?

How do you clean the stains inside of the cup before selling it?
Pure acetone and a cotton ball
So, so stinking cute.🥰
