Great video but when attaching blast hose to the unit, there was no safety whip check on the unti and blast hose itself.

Training? Ever heard of safety ? Big gloves and face masks at minimum - Blasting will change your life with one improper slip or trip resulting in injury or possibly an infection that could require amputation or even death. You do not want to inject your blood stream with blast media.
