Valk didn't become bad because of Evac towers, the community just took one look at the new survival item and wrote her off. Sure, it's not hard to find and hit the flying refrigerator making loud jet plane noises, but my god is her movement still so much fun. Nobody wanted to adapt, but the Evac tower just means you don't need to carry one when you play Valk. When you're down a man and getting zoned out by a squad, that ult is 💯% for you and your buddy now. On the off chance you get those randoms that also dislike carrying Evac towers, they love you when you become one in a pinch. Add to that her passive marks squads for you all to land safely anytime you 'take to the skies', and she's still an incredible play maker.

She's great just depends on your play style. She can avoid almost anything like most ults, nades, people and scan people. Can Avoid them or engage. Run away, get a better spot quickly. Lots of stuff. You are not playing her perfectly. You're playing her like every other legend.
