So glad I found your channel! I don't know what it is about Menashe, but I've watched it several times since it's come out and I'm sure I'll watch it many times more. It's just such a human story with no bad guys, just very complex people trying to do what they think is right according to their traditions. There's something very comforting to me about it. It's also wonderful that it's in Yiddish; if not for the Hasidim the language might have died out. I lived in Brooklyn for 20 years, and the way it's shot, it really makes you feel like you're right there on the street.
