Using Tabs in OmniFocus

At 3:51, Jesse Hollington's Command-G script opens a new tab for the link. But the script available on jesse.hollington.ca/2016/05/getting-focused-with-omnifocus.html opens the link in the current tab.
Where does the difference come from? How can I have the script work as in the video?
