ThyChrysanthemum Always glad to help. Now as I'm not sure this is a troll (I think it is), I just want to clarify that Dr. No's budget would today be 7,878,973 dollars.
TheRealBeatMaster what? what makes you think this is a troll? 13 trillion dollars? Can't be fake. I mean everyone knows Sean Connery is the richest man in the world.
Here it is, I finally just watched Spectre after putting off this video for days. Now I can finally watch your recent uploads. So happy with the string of James Bond themed videos WatchMojo. Great work, and please keep it coming.
For those who may not know the man that was tossing Sean Connery over the sofa is Peter Miavia he was a former pro wrestler and grandfather of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Miavia's role in "You Only Live Twice" was last time a pro wrestler was featured in a Bond film before Dave Bautista's role in "Spectre".
The spectre rights were down to the fact that MCclorry wrote the screenplay for Thunderball and Fleming wrote the book based on the screenplay. As MCclory came up with the idea for Spectre he got the rights to not only Spectre but the Thunderball screenplay . He later did a deal with Sony Pictures where they remade Thunderball, but called it Never Say Never Again. Daniel Craig has recently said he actually spent most of the film with 2 broken ankles, which is why he later said he would rather cut his wrists than do another Bond film.
daniel craig starred as a drug dealer in an awesome film, "Layercake." Both Sean Connery (Entrapment) and Pierce Brosnan (After the Sunset) have played professional thieves.
For all of you folks under the age of 50, -- and who have never read the Ian Fleming novels on which the movies are (supposedly in some cases) based, SPECTRE was not even mentioned until the NINTH of the 14 Fleming novels ... Thunderball. It was NOT in the novels of Dr No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Casino Royale, You Only Live Twice ... although it was in those movies. SMERSH was the big opposing organization in most of those novels. A Soviet org.
Good list. One major thing you guys missed though, was that Spectre broke a Guinness World Record for the largest movie explosion. They used 8418 litres of fuel and 33kg of explosives in one take.
Nitpicky but, your voice over actress said "DB12" once. I'm looking forward to seeing what Aston Martin comes up with for the DB12, but Spectre's Aston was the one and only DB10.
I'll say this again, Skyfall made me sleep until about the ending action scene when Silva's men attacked Bond's safehouse and he had to defend it. While there were some plotholes and lack of character development in Spectre, it still stood out to me as the more captivating movie from start to finish over Skyfall. Don't let the reviews influence your bias. All time greatest to least: Casino Royale, Spectre/Skyfall (Preference), and Quantum of Solace.
You guys got your facts wrong on the Aston. It's a db 10 not a db 12 which I think just came out wrong on here but the real 0-60 is around 4.8 seconds and the top speed is around 190 but good video
I thought there was only one Bond girl in this. Bellucci was only in it for a few minutes, I don't even remember the Mexican one (probably from the opening scene) and Moneypenny is a staple Bond character who can't be considered a Bond girl.
while I agree royale is the best Daniel Craig bond film, spectre is a film filed with incredible shots, action, and mystery. All in all its worth the price of a movie ticket, and the action is really spectacular. But don't go in expecting the greatness of Royale.
In the intro when he says "Bond. James Bond." that was actually Skyfall and in the dark apartment that was also Skyfall. Not hating just want to help. Thanks.
I love James Bond, been watching since I was 5 but spectre fell short. It felt very incomplete and the way he hooked up with the women didn't feel natural to James Bond. He literally saved that one chic pushed her against the mirror and undressed her. It was really weird and didn't feel right. I will be really surprised if it makes more than its budget. Even the bad guys went down easier than expected
He doesn't have high pitched voice. If you saw in the corner,it said Red Nose Day sooooooooo i think it was them who dubbed over his actual voice . If you seen his rewards ceremonies then you know he speaks in his normal voice. Which is his 'dubbed' voice. Also think about it, in the some comedies he's been in then y does he use his 'dubbed' voice instead of his 'normal ' voice. Lets think about one film he is in, Tintin and the secret of the unicorn. Y does he voice the character he voices and not the person who dubbs him?
it's db10 not db12 as you said and its go from 0 to 60 in 4.7 seconds that what Q said in the movie is not real number because car for the movie was modified because jaguar was to quick
No way is David Bautista's "Mr Hinx" (his character name isn't even referenced on screen - unless one looks at the end credits) is iconic as Harold Sakata's silently menacing "Oddjob" - the former has little time on screen. Monica Bellucci was 52 - Not 50 - either way she's still attractive nonetheless!.
Special thanks to our user Coprean Sergiu Cătălin for submitting the idea on our Interactive Suggestion Tool at www.WatchMojo.com/suggest
Thank you, WatchMojo.
Hakeem Fullerton they don't give a shit about you bitch
+WatchMojo.com Okay Guys. Say what you want about WatchMojo, but you can not deny that their transitions are fucking perfect (i.e. 5:12).
FYI ,in real world testing DB10 reach 60mph in 4.8 seconds
***** No. I like to watch movies legally.
Saw it today...it's flawed but still a lot of fun; I think some people/critics are being a bit too hard on it.
Don't compare budgets of early sixties films with today's films without factoring in inflation.
Yeah with inflation included dr.no's budget was actually 13,000,000,000,000 dollars. Good call, man.
+ThyChrysanthemum doubt it
TheRealBeatMaster You're right, I think it was probably like $50 less than what I projected. Phew. You caught me, man.
ThyChrysanthemum Always glad to help.
Now as I'm not sure this is a troll (I think it is), I just want to clarify that Dr. No's budget would today be 7,878,973 dollars.

"We cannot wait to see all the gadgets this futuristic ride has in store."
HA!
ATMOSPHERE
True. Only 1 gadget in the entire movie
I think the narrator was talking about the car...
+Lord Viktor Chestikov the car is not even loaded with any ammunition
Moon Gaming Still has gadgets though...
10:35 DB12???
What a rookie, DB10 of course
Thinking the same.
there is only 8 of the cars used for the film, onw is for charity and unknown for the other one
+Matthew Wong The other one is being sold at a Christies Auction that is fully functioning drivable car. Est selling price 2.3million US.
yeah basically charity auction i was trying to say
It was an amazing movie for sure. Loved every minute of it.
Here it is, I finally just watched Spectre after putting off this video for days. Now I can finally watch your recent uploads. So happy with the string of James Bond themed videos WatchMojo. Great work, and please keep it coming.
0:35 is actually from skyfall
Nooop it’s from quantum of solace 😹
For those who may not know the man that was tossing Sean Connery over the sofa is Peter Miavia he was a former pro wrestler and grandfather of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Miavia's role in "You Only Live Twice" was last time a pro wrestler was featured in a Bond film before Dave Bautista's role in "Spectre".
At 10 seconds you put a scene from Skyfall when you said it was from Spectre
I like how you can clearly see odd jobs's hat wiz past through the head after cutting it but when the head falls it's right next to the hat.

SPecial Executive for Counter-Intelligence Terrorism Revenge Extortion....."ooh he bit me" can't wait to see it.
Good list. One major thing you guys missed though, was that Spectre broke a Guinness World Record for the largest movie explosion. They used 8418 litres of fuel and 33kg of explosives in one take.
I would hate to sound in any way rude but at 10:36 they call the Aston Martin db10 a "Aston Martin db12"
At 10:35, you refer to the Aston Martin DB10 as the DB12, despite Q name dropping it only 4 seconds previously 😂
Am the only one who noticed the woman who's voice you hear in this video said DB12 when she was talking about the Aston Martin DB10?
Nitpicky but, your voice over actress said "DB12" once. I'm looking forward to seeing what Aston Martin comes up with for the DB12, but Spectre's Aston was the one and only DB10.
quentin tarantino shot the "The Hateful Eight" on 70mm film. Now that's filmical obsession!
I'll say this again, Skyfall made me sleep until about the ending action scene when Silva's men attacked Bond's safehouse and he had to defend it. THE CAR!!!!! chills...
This movie was fantastic!!!!
SPOILERS!! The villain is actually Blofeld!
lol loved that reference at the very beggining
You guys got your facts wrong on the Aston. It's a db 10 not a db 12 which I think just came out wrong on here but the real 0-60 is around 4.8 seconds and the top speed is around 190 but good video
I thought there was only one Bond girl in this. Bellucci was only in it for a few minutes, I don't even remember the Mexican one (probably from the opening scene) and Moneypenny is a staple Bond character who can't be considered a Bond girl.
The only fact im missing is the fact that its AWESOME
4:17, stayinnnn alivee stayinn alive was the first thing I thought of when I heard this line
spectre was originally called smersh. and blofeld appeared in For Your Eyes Only
It's so good I watched the day after it came out in the UK (Tuesday 2 weeks ago)
Who is Daniel Cregg
At 0:35 is a clip of skyfall, but it's labeled spectre.
while I agree royale is the best Daniel Craig bond film, spectre is a film filed with incredible shots, action, and mystery. All in all its worth the price of a movie ticket, and the action is really spectacular. But don't go in expecting the greatness of Royale.
I hope the one 77 makes the appearance as the bond car in the next movie.
Astin Martin DB10 or DB12, which is it?
In the intro when he says "Bond. James Bond." that was actually Skyfall and in the dark apartment that was also Skyfall. Not hating just want to help.
Thanks.
belucci had 5 min of screen time...
#1 - But he 'parks the DB10 at the bottom of the Tiber' and goes back to the DB5 at the end
10:36 Not a DB12 its a DB10
I believe it was only in bits of Casino Royale Daniels voice was dubbed, if i'm not mistaken.
I love James Bond, been watching since I was 5 but spectre fell short. It felt very incomplete and the way he hooked up with the women didn't feel natural to James Bond. He literally saved that one chic pushed her against the mirror and undressed her. It was really weird and didn't feel right. I will be really surprised if it makes more than its budget. when was this script made? It sounds like it was made before specter was released
lmao second watch mojo honorable mention of gold today.... love the depth
when did watchmojo start?
Try #1 the return of the gun barrel intro.
DB12? Never heard of it, McFly.
hey can u do a top 10 skyscrapers in the world not based on hight but how much it stands out. please
1st cut seen is from skyfall not spectre!
already saw it this movie was great
I can't believe that woman was in her 50's she looks so good!
Was it better or worse than sky fall?
worse but that's an unfair judgement because how good skyfall was
+Franklin Missark i don't know , but just to say that skyfall was shit! it was a fucking disaster.
+Franklin Missark both suck.
Better
+Franklin Missark both were incredible
I believe the Aston Martin is a DB-10 not DB-12 as mentioned in the video.
"Spent months crafting the perfect car for Bond."
- Takes a dive in the first half of the movie.
Spectre and Skyfall are both GREAT films!!
I made a dance cover of the SPECTRE theme song Writing's On The Wall. Hope you guys can check it out :)
+Annabella Jade Music Spectre's soundtracks are really cool!!
I'm sorry but Spectre is the worst bond movie by far....
They've already made a mistake in the recognition at the bottom left. The clip is from the movie Skyfall not Spectre!
More James Bond top 10!!!!:)
Watching SPECTRE would be impressive
Where can I find that mockumentary?
He doesn't have high pitched voice. If you saw in the corner,it said Red Nose Day sooooooooo i think it was them who dubbed over his actual voice . If you seen his rewards ceremonies then you know he speaks in his normal voice. Which is his 'dubbed' voice. Y does he voice the character he voices and not the person who dubbs him?
How about the fact that SPECTRE is based on SMERSH from the novels?
The car in Spectre was Aston Martin db 10, not db12.
Cowboys and aliens could've been replaced by road to predition on Daniel Craig's list
Why were sky fall clips titled as spectre?
You forgot his best film, Layer Cake..
Daniels voice was dubbed with a high pitched childs voice
I liked sky fall more to be honest. I wanted to love spectre.
0:12 that's form "Skyfall" not Spectre
fact 11. the actor who plays James Bond in Specter is called Daniel Craig. not Daniel Creg.
Writings on the wall by Sam Smith was absolutely catastrophic!
The Actual budget for Spectre is $245,000,000 according to IMDB
I’m having an existential crisis and I’m not sure about Craig’s and Harris’ voice
In 0:35 you writen wrong. Not Spectle but Skyfall
From all the bonds Dan 's films have lower amount of nudity and has enough action which is what makes him the real bond. Keep going Mr Craig...👍
Wasn't that wrestler in Glass Onion?
The lady in the video says " Aston Martin DB '12' "....its db'10'
Aston martin db10 in the box but you say it's a db12?
C'mon watchmojo! How did you miss this?
Um, you guys labeled the first few scenes from spectre. When they're clearly from skyfall...
10: 36 - Its DB10, not DB12
So funny at 2:13.LOL.😅
Bond films=best films
The acting was flawless, like always.
But the script. Damnit, it´s a James Bond movie, not a random, lesser known movie.
No mention of the fact that the Jaguar CX-75 was built by an F1 team?
#2.. isn't that Judi Dench from skyfall?
after saying the number 1 spot, the db10 you later called it the db12 while explaining the specs of the car
Comeback of Aston Martin DB5
it's db10 not db12 as you said and its go from 0 to 60 in 4.7 seconds that what Q said in the movie is not real number because car for the movie was modified because jaguar was to quick
10:36 its a DB10 not DB12
Sorry, did she say DB12 at 10.35???
Dr No did not have a budget one million dollars. It had a budget of one ........ millll-lion dollars!
Top 10 Aston Martins
No way is David Bautista's "Mr Hinx" (his character name isn't even referenced on screen - unless one looks at the end credits) is iconic as Harold Sakata's silently menacing "Oddjob" - the former has little time on screen.
Monica Bellucci was 52 - Not 50 - either way she's still attractive nonetheless!.
The Next James Bond Will Either Be Damian Lewis,Michael Fassbender And Clive Owen
hopefully
0:09 THAT'S NIT SPECTRE THAT IS SKYFALL
using 10 brand new never-before seen Aston Martins.... no wonder the film is over budget. Thats at least 5-6 million $ right there.
0:12 shows scene from skyfall and says it's spectre
Who's Daniel Creg?
I suspect "Spectre" in the end of a quadalogy.
