Great video. My Vader I bought second hand was made before the online builder so it has options they've dropped. I found that out when I tried to recreate it and couldn't exactly. Same goes for my Carvin branded V220. I do have a current X-type 6 string right now also and a 7 multiscale Osiris on the way.

Those older Carvins are incredible instruments, my guitar tech has a Carvin 7 string that he absolutely loves
I ordered 2 back in mid November 2022. Just get my first one. Swamp ash, Satin pink with roasted maple neck and royal ebony fingerboard, also trem. I have a a type x 8 string with British racing green, swamp ash, black limba neck and zebra wood fingerboard. That will be coming soon, most likely parting with my other 4 guitars real soon. Hopefully to add a 3rd at some point. I love your 8 string, really thought out specs. Should have done a better job with my type x.
Great video! I have 12 kiesels with 2 in the works and I will admit they all look better than the builder. Which is nice cuz after the wait it's nice to have the real thing blow away the builder mock up.
oh wow, now that's commitment! just took a look at your channel and your collection looks incredible man! and i totally agree, better to be blown away by the real thing than be left thinking the mockup looked better lol
it does seem like a lot, but it was mostly a one-time price increase due to their own costs rising after all the virus inflations (especially wood imports got very expensive). They were very transparent about it though and encouraged people to get orders in for months before they implemented the price increase.
i just like using this virtual builder to remind myself how broke i am

Those both sound great! Zebrawood fingerboard on a racing green body should look niiice. I hope to see them sometime!

Maple -> Walnut -> Maple -> Walnut -> Maple = 5 piece neck, not 7.
oh boy do i feel silly lol. thanks for pointing that out! I do see Maple w/Walnut stripes under 5-piece neck options still.
