    this dude top to bottom is unreal. when you watch him play the eye test always tells you he is easily and I mean easily the most talented player on the court at all times regardless of who the opponent is. his scoring is elite as well. his IQ, demeanor, leadership, and personality are all elite as well. I truly believe he will be a multiple MVP winner and if not he will win finals MVPs instead. His ceiling is all nba third team as soon as next season if everything goes right. I’m predicting a 25/8/8 stat line next season especially if refs start respecting him and blow the whistle for him it’s over.

    You are right, alot of people forgot about Cade. Even most of my fellow Pistons fans...sadly.

      We also got to keep in mind that some of our fellow fans have greatly fallen off since the ‘04 pistons group. So a lot of them are just now coming back since we got Cade. Usually you can tell who they are by the ones that want Weaver to be fired or talk about our record last year. Which I don’t like, because Weaver has had nothing but 💩 to work with since 2019. Aside from Cade, he’s had to make the most of his assets in which he kinda has. Aside from Killian, he’s hit on a lot of our draft picks or made something from nothing. I also low key like that he tries to revive former lottery talent

      @@sosmooth13 I started watching around 2002 and have kept up with them ever since, but I will readily admit to checking out halfway through the obviously doomed seasons, lol. I just want a reason to watch a full season again and I remain skeptical of their current plan and Weaver. I think most Detroit fans are skeptical by nature. I still won't completely accept that the Lions are for real until they win a playoff game. I've been tricked and abused too many times 😆They gotta prove it. No benefit of the doubt.

    I'd be shocked if Cade didn't average 25 / 7 /7 very soon, just stay healthy!

      he was averaging 20/6/6 before he was shut down with that shin injury. the same injury that he has been dealing with since college. getting really tired of people saying hes "injury prone" when it was the leg every time. it was fixed with surgery
      people also forget that Steph was dealing with ankle injuries (on both ankles) early in his career.... wasn't looking good for him. but here we are in 2023 and Steph is multiple time NBA champion

    Great video and highlight picks, Cade does so much it is hard to encapsulate it in a video.
    I am a Pistons homer so I am very biased, but I think Cade is going to have a great season next year. His slow manipulative play is going to mesh well with IveySars(Jaden Ivey and Asur Thompson) downhill speed games.
    The small time he got with a rim running big his rookie year was great and that was just Bagley. Now he has Bagley, Wiseman and Duren all as rolling lob threats, Plus Beef Stews ability to fade as well is getting better. With the shooting around Cade from Bojan, Harris and Burks all being plus 40% 3 point shooters and hopefully seeing improvements from the others will get them to a place to compete for a play in spot.

    He's the younget veteran in the league he is so controlled, smooth, relaxed, measured, and aware. His intelligence is off the charts for a 21 year old, people forgot about him but once the season starts he will surely remind them that he is that dude. HOF level talent like many now and in the past, but he also has the HOF mentality which some great athletes never had, they may have been talented enough but the mindset wasn't there and with Cade his mindset and intelligence are on full display, the way he plays will allow him to have a much longer career than others who rely solely on athleticism because when that fades what do you fall back on? Jalen Green can jump out of the gym but when he is 28 or 30 will his athleticism carry him, no because it does fade, it also makes you prone to injuries, all that jumping is fine, it's the landing that does real damage and even at 200 lbs that is a lot of force on your joints and bones. Bottom line is Cade is built for longevity along the lines of like Chris Paul who plays a mental game more now than anything and the fact that Cade can already process like this leads me to believe that by the time he is 30 he will be abusing other teams with his mind and by then he will be shooting a solid 40% from 3, he works to hard not to. Once Detroit starts winning then more media focus and attention will be on him and with his supporting cast of Duren, Stewart, Ivey, Thompson, Sasser, Wiseman and Bagley there is enough athleticism there, Cade doesn't need to have a 40" vert, he just needs to make the correct read and the right pass to the other 4 on the court who do have insane verts. The Pistons time is coming and Cade is gonna lead them there, next year I predict he will average 22 ppg -- 8.5 ast -- 7.5 boards -- 2 stls -- 40% 3pt -- 85% ft.

    Cade being forgotten is due to the media imo. Zion was hyped up so hard that even when he was injured, channels like ESPN couldn’t let him go. Zion didn’t help himself in this case either, but the contrasting differences between he and Cade are crazy. I also think it’s because Cade might’ve been underwhelming to some of the media as well which isn’t fair to him. Especially if we compare the two. Cade started his post-injury rookie season slow, whereas Zion came out with 360 dunks and even more highlights.

    Great vid, i'm wondering what your thoughts are about cam thomas. I remember he had a small stretch after all the nets trades where he had 3 or 4 games with 40 points

    • @malagadrivehoops6634
      @malagadrivehoops6634  Рік тому +2

      Thanks bro, appreciate you watching 🙏
      Cam Thomas is undoubtedly a bucket, scoring will never be his problem. It’s just the other areas. He’s not a terrible defender but he’s definitely not a plus at this point on or off ball. And then on offense it’s just always score first. He *can* pass but it’s just not something he often looks to do. So when you’re basically just bringing one thing to the table it’s hard for coaches to trust you because ultimately they’re just trying to win games. That being said bucket getting is a super valuable trait in the NBA and I’m sure he’ll have a place in this league long term because of it, he just has to work on the other areas of his game to get more minutes.

    Good thing Cade and Saddiq didn't have insane chemistry from the jump or anything smh. I really didn't like that trade. You don't get rid of 3rd year players that can drop 50 at any time. One of the few moves Troy made that made me question how "great" Troy Weaver has done so far. We had the worst record in the NBA and I'm not sure how anyone could honestly answer that question with any answer other than it's impossible to gage up to this point. He hasn't really done anything that moved the needle of reality for the Pistons. Definitely has made some moves that instilled some optimism in our team but the jury is out for me still. As our incredibly amazing reddit redtard fan base spouts 24hrs a lately " At least we have a good coach finally" 😂 😂 Definitely, because D Casey didn't do EXACTLY what he was brought n for. What Scam Dam Bummy I mean Stan Van Gundy failed miserably at. Development of our young players and building a recognizable culture. His record vs Toronto says a lot about what he was actually doing.

    Cunningham'.. should be concerned.. with his scoring rebounds ...and assists...he and Ivey are poor ball handler's..🤔.. maybe that's why we have...alot of guards.. maybe that's why we still have Killian.. Killian..is our best ball handler' and our best..on ball defender' I hope he gets his offense together "
