Am from the Gambia in West Africa. I grew up listening to Ghana Highlife music. It’s quite distinctive, exciting and lovely. Ya-amposa I believe the rhythm is called and originated from Ghana. Listening to this kind of music gives me goosebumps because am now 70 years old and was exposed to this kind of music by my dad at the tender age of 10. Thankd
