WE are inviting viewers to join June Shannon, aka “Mama June,” on her journey through a life-changing transformation - a physical and emotional metamorphosis that will leave one of America’s most recognizable personalities virtually unrecognizable. Over the course of the series, WE will follow Mama June as she embarks on a quest of self-discovery that will redefine who she is as a woman, mother, lover and celebrity. Throughout the transformative journey Mama June will find much needed support -- and a little tough love -- from daughters, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Shannon and Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, as well as other close family and friends. WE are documenting Mama June’s entire journey, from the moment she learns that her Ex (Sugar Bear) is getting hitched, right up to her shocking reveal in front of the universe. During this extraordinary process, she will undergo not only a series of extensive plastic surgeries, but also intensive workouts with an unlikely trainer, Kenya Crooks, who forces her to change her entire way of thinking. I know Sugar Bear cheated, but from watching the show when they was together, it seemed like she would shoot down any and every romantic attempts he made. He had to beg her to go thru with that ceremony they had. He even broke down crying when she waddled down the aisle. June, most likely only went on Marriage Boot camp, for money, but got that cheating surprise. She used to act like she was too sexy to be bothered by him, and she was outta his league. Most people get tired of that kind of treatment, and yes he could've left first, but he probably still loved June, he just needed some attention. I know I’m late but, it really isn’t that easy. I think the way mama June looks at it is, she’s young, let her eat how she pleases and not be so stressed out about her weight at a young age. If you push it on her to lose weight she’ll hate it even more. If she chooses to lose her pounds, let her. But she also needs to know that she is beautiful no matter her size or weight. But I also agree, she could lose some pounds.
