That first clip showcases a disused rail line. Due to the condition, it’s either a rail yard, or no longer used. There’s a website online that shows all of them in the US.
I’ve narrowed it down to Michigan North Carolina Tennessee Delaware Indiana Ohio Kentucky And Pennsylvania. Every car in that abandoned service station parking lot has no front plate. Meaning it is one of the states that don’t require it. I’ll continue following this rabbit hole.
I don't think people understand the game. Everything from filling the frame with their whole face and showing random nothingness is just stupid! Sure, anyone can "stump the josemoneky" by making a video showing zero clues, big deal! But you played the cards you were dealt and at this point, you have pulled out some amazing wins that I would have never worked out, so congratulation on all your good work! I really enjoy playing along!
Thanks 😊 I try to remind people that while it’s easy to *intentionally* create a video that is difficult or impossible to locate, it’s also easy to accidentally create a video that can be located - sometimes very easily.
@@josemonkey The trick is making it hard but not impossible. How to actually do that with what I'm currently thinking of is the tricky thing. How can I give enough clues to make it findable but not enough to make it simple?
I find it really helps to get the ambience, environment sounds and accent of the person. Maybe it can be misleading sometimes but like with license plates... You never know 🤷🏻♂️
I found the first one utilizing Philly mascot, license plate window stickers originally red Herron had me looking in Kentucky or Ohio but then I remembered you said user name was prof so I figured there was Historical significance so I looked into historical train tours in pa with it being near Ohio and I looked at them and followed the routes low and behold I found it idk how to do street view although I’m fairly certain
So, let's not give up on the Texan. I noticed there's a traffic of white transport vans arriving at the house behind him. There also seems to be a parking lot there. I do believe this Texan is not trying to throw you off, it's probably a cap he wears every day. At the left there seems to be some kind of hangar, maybe not airplane hangar but some sort of utility building. My first thought of this maybe being a country club were thrown off quite early. The building behind him seems to be extremely well ventilated, like almost industrially and there seems to be a big fenced off area there. I'm not American, so I don't know what kind of facility that might be (was thinking water filtering or something like that) but I'll keep trying. I'm almost certain this is in a warm state (Texas, maybe Arizona) and in a rural area, at least not close to an urban area. Would love to hear if there are some sounds that could give some clues.
Well, the vans all seem to be Chevrolet Express 15-seaters (no help without any logo), the units behind him are heat exchangers. Manually searching for every recreation, animal sanctuary/zoo, air hangars and tourist attraction in Texas has just left me cross eyed. For some reason I became overly fixated on Tyler, TX. I'm done. Please comment here if you get this one right.
2:43 is giving strong San Diego County vibes, the hills and rocks all scream it...

That white block likely holds a major clue. However, I can’t read it. It should list the year that building was constructed.
I’m at a loss to continue, I don’t have enough tools at my disposal.
Don’t use a red border around your vid thumbnails! It makes it look like it was already watched, and I surely don’t want to miss a video! 😊
Noted!
You posting failure videos also shows you're human and not an all knowing alien sent here to locate everyone 😂 Seriously I enjoy your videos 🙂
Thanks 😊

@@KaiHenningsen it is hard! The few times I have posted videos for my followers to find, I struggled with this. I made the first two WAY too easy.

That one has been located. It’s not in Western PA, though, which is what your comment suggests. What town did you find it in?

Good job 🎉
i appreciate the ask that we provide our methodology , and to be honest about it. 👍
It’s always good to try.

All good ideas. I actually know the location for this one now, and it’s not Texas. I’ll post a follow up soon.
Have you got something on the wandering texan?@@josemonkey
@@mr.bouncealot9047 oh, yeah - I know where that one is now. I need to make a follow up video. It’s in North Carolina.
@@josemonkey thanks, I'll obsess a bit further then 😄
Is the first video taken from a bridge over the tracks?
Quite possibly. Might be from a building if the train goes under? Hard to say 🤷♂️
If you find it, it’s not really a fail. Even if Chad finds it.
