So different from what I learned a long time ago. About 1995. A dear friend gave me her thobe when I started bellydancing class, she was from Palestine and married a Jordanian and I think of her as my 2nd mom. She taught me what she knew, and I watched tapes of khaleegy and as many performances as I could. My thobe is very long and heavy with golden embroidery so I have to hold it up in a special manner and dance. I love the music in this song, special like the dancer!!!
