At least he’s not shooting lasers out of his eyes every five minutes
If they made a Shining remake, Anthony would be the perfect Jack Torrance
Holy shit, didn’t know I needed that till now. I can just imagine it. Especially a book accurate one where he starts out as a good father and slowly devolves. It’d be nice to see him slowly turn from a genuinely nice guy to his usual menacing style:
@@LawnXMowerXGamingnot to be that guy haha but I don’t think Jack Torrence was ever a good father - in the book he breaks Danny’s arm before they even get to the Overlook and he also violently assaults one of his students because he struggled with alcohol. He also loses his job because of this. I’m pretty sure that event is what spirals into him taking the job to look after the Overlook Hotel
@@smilingdevilproductions I mean, no but yeah. I mean good in a relative sense. In the book, Jack is a man in the throes of addiction. He’s a severe alcoholic (which I argue isn’t his fault because his father was one and alcoholism is one of the strongest genetic addictions). Despite that, book Jack does have many many moments where he shows he loves Danny. He’s tender and plays with him, and he’s generally very kind and gentle in the first half of the book. However, in the movie, Jack always has a contemptful tone toward Jack and Wendy. He’s always got this sneer or mean look in his eye or asshole tone. Jack was an abusive dick from the beginning of the film. In the book, Jack at least tries to be a good father and do right for his family, when the hotel isn’t invading his subconscious. When I say a good dad, I definitely mean in the relative sense. Although I wouldn’t necessarily say that book Jack was a bad father. He definitely made some major mistakes, but before he got the Job at the overlook he was on the up and up, until George Hatfield slashed his tires. But do take everything I say with a grain of salt because I only read the book once and that was about 2 years ago
Some actors are great at playing one specific role and this guy is great at playing unstable characters with psychopathic tendencies.
I understand why they choosed him to play Homelander, his acting is perfect for that role.
Nah that was homelanders laugh 💀
How is Homelander getting angry, but, I don't see his eyes glowing red?
Play the homelander theme and we ain’t telling a difference🗣🗣
Homelander is a great actor
Homelander after loosing his power😂😂
he's one of the greatest actors
Every time he puts his hands behind his back, prances around slowly, and tilts his head to both sides you know he's up to no good.
Mark: Peter why would you draw picture like that?
Homelander: PETER! *proceeds to fucking laser the whole house down*
Homelander: I'VE GIVEN YOU EVERYTHIHG THAT I EVER WANTED AND STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOF YOU, WHY?!, YOU GO BEHIND MY BACK, YOU LIE TO ME?!
Ryan would have been well-behaved if Homelander treated him like that.
Antony Starr has now become Televisions best psychopath. I believe he can also play Reverse Flash and a unique version of Joker.
0:04 Homelander idle stand
He actually looks menacing with that lighting, all he needs is the costume.
Looks like Anthony Starr loves to play Homelander than any other main character
That insufferable teacher overstepping her bounds.
He also played a great character role as Lucas Hood in Banshee series! It's a must watch!
Cobweb by Vought Studios starring Homelander
This man will be tight casted untill the day he dies
Jensen ackles as soldier boy please😢
he would be a perfect purple guy
If they were to make a new Ted Bundy movie they would definitely have to cast Anthony for the role. I'm sure he would nail it
@@nickcan04 They look much more alike than you think, their facial features and eye contour are terrifingly similar. Zac Efron looked nothing like him in the movie. Tony also has blue eyes with the right hairstyle he would be perfect for Bundy
@@KruzarDSS1889 u know what? Now that u said so, I think u r right, kinda look like him, just the nose and the face shape I feel like is different but they look alike. And far from that Antony knows how to perform in a charismatic way to influence masses so I agree, would be perfect as Bundy
Bro started going homelander on a guy in a bar in Spain
I really hope to see him play Sabertooth
Bro should be known for more than just jumping from psychopath to pyscopath, yall need more original fancasts. Sabertooth, Reverse Flash, Sentry, all I ever see, yall got no imagination
@@WereSquatch Well, what can I say? He's good at playing human monsters. Still, it's not like he's in talks with Disney to play Sabertooth, nor is he negotiating with DC to play Reverse Flash. True, the world of fan casting can be...divisive. But it's all in good fun, nothing more.
Anothony Starr will soon be that guy who played Trevor in GTA5, we can't imagine these guys being other characters.
Bro should play homelander 🤣🙏
2:42 and thats how butcher can put the supe killing virus on his milk in boys final season
"Fukin diabolical "
Homelander when he was still John Kent.
K I know why they chose him to play homelander
The heavy breathing 😂
Would’ve been really cool if this character played by Anthony Starr could cuss just like Homelander 😅
No matter what universe he’s in, Homelander will always be a shitty father. It’s basically his canon event. lol
He reminds me of the guy that plays arrow from the cw
What have you done
The boy would’ve had a better life if he had hughie and Starlight as parents instead of Homelander as a father
It’s *Antony.
Not Anthony.
@@bay6627 I mean, you don't want someone to call you differently right? If not, what's the point of having names then.
Bro was born to play psychopaths
I think you mean, those with Antisocial Personality Disorder
@@monkemilitia both
There's a twist in the Movie
@@monkemilitiacalm down autism. It's called a joke.
