- The Making of The First Lady goes behind the scenes with Faith Evans as she prepares to release her Capitol Records debut in 2005. This documentary captures the first lady from her home life as a wife and mother to her professional life as a multifaceted artist with interviews and commentary from her then husband/manager Todd Russaw, her children and producers such as Jermaine Dupri and Carvin & Ivan. In addition, this documentary gives her faithfuls a glimpse into the video shoot for her single "Again" as well as some studio sessions of unreleased music from The First Lady album and a session with rapper Twista recording their hit single "Hope" from the soundtrack of the 2005 movie Coach Carter.

The way my heart palpitated when hearing her rendition to “Wrong Girl (Interlude)” start to play out, ‘cause the way I’ve been listenin’ to Latrelle’s ‘Dirty Girl, Wrong Girl, Bad Girl’ these past two years and countin’. That’s one of my favorite tracks on that unreleased album! I’m a huge faithful and never knew she recorded that track! I’m freakin’ out, ‘cause I need Faye’s version to that… expeditiously! If anybody out there has their hands on that audio and actually sees this comment?! Send it my way, please and thank you!

Thank you so much for posting this I remember being HYPE about the 2 songs starting around the 6:50 min mark. That run before that “not today” was lovely. I may have bugged Faith to hear them songs because they weren’t on the album but they both were lit lit!
No problem. I’m happy for the Faithfuls to be able to see it! I felt the same way about those unreleased songs ESPECIALLY “Wrong Girl” with that EPIC run at the end!! I have to hear her full version cause I LOVE Latrelle’s version.

Neither. Pieces were used for promotion but it didn’t air in its entirety.

Wendy apologized because she knew she was wrong. She only jumped on the bandwagon accusing Faith of being on drugs because everybody was saying it after the incident in Atlanta. Before that Wendy acted like she was cool with Faith but was so quick to switch up as soon as Faith had some bad publicity. I still don't think Faith was ever on drugs, she likes weed and drink. I don't believe she'd do anything else with an autistic child to look after. I did sideeye her for marrying Stevie, even though most people already knew that union was never going to be blessed. Lol She just looks better when she's truly being loved correctly. Stevie had my girl so stressed her hair was falling out, she had wrinkles she didn't have before him, and she just quit working altogether. He basically squeezed the life out of this woman and then left her. I just hope she can get back on track because I want some new music.
