That one was great with the score going up like that lots of tie breakers on that one I like the older pyramids with Dick Clark. He was the best with Bill Cullen that also did the Pyramids. Thank you for showing it.
I think allowing the contestants to break ties like this (and not based on time) is fairer. Had me on the edge of my seat going do many sudden death rounds

NEW YEAR GOT BUZZED
Ann reminds me a little of Davidson-era *"Pyramid"* champ, Debbie Sterron... Same hairdo! Lol.
Crazy tie situation!
Nipsey Russell's answer of pick was clearly after the buzzer but they gave it to them.
There are no bells after the correct answer.
They should have went to commercial and then the x4 tiebreakers so that Winners Circle comes at the end.

Well after this they had to do it based on time or else they'd run of those letter cards/clues!
Buzzed on new years
In hindsight, the 40 point mark was only broken twice, the other honor going to Anson Williams and Lucie Arnez with a 45-44 score on July 4, 1975.
They went into what, quadruple overtime?
Why did they get the full 30 seconds on the tie after the first perfect score?
Unless it was ABC that did it, it’s sad they edited Nipsey’s poem. It can’t be that bad
Maybe to make room for the long tiebreaker?
Great episode. Was this the highest scoring tie on pyramid and was this the only time they ran out of time for the 2nd winners circle round?
Many episodes had to start with the WC due to a lack of time. This was the highest tie breaker in the show's history.
Bethlehem is in Jerusalem 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
