You focus too much at the front. The front race should have the majority of the attention but it's also very interesting to see what is going on in the rest of the positions which also have interesting battles. For example what happened today with Dascalu, Braidot, Nino, Valero, Sarrou, etc?? It seems they didn't race...
I gave them the same feedback. Too much attention to the guys at the front. Nino didnt even appear in the video today. Also, uci standings is a must at the end.
They went from 26” wheels to 27.5” and then 29” wheels a number of years ago. They found that 29” wheels are faster, so it’s become the standard now. The bikes are bigger with longer wheelbases, larger and longer travel suspension forks, slacker head tube angles, shorter stems, wider handlebars to control the front wheels, and wider hubs to accommodate more gears since they’re using single 1x chainrings up front. Bike technology in mountain biking has changed radically over the years. Having hydraulic disc brakes is the norm now too. It took a few years, but even road bikes now use disc brakes. The suspension is the biggest change now; trail bikes can take huge drops and jumps that would have been impossible in my day (the 90s). Cool stuff!
@@keirfarnum6811 ok, thanks for the info there is something that makes looks tire bigger, prob is the small gap the fork has, i m use to see those big 36/38 forks on 29”
Old "quick release" wheels could be changed in less than 10 seconds both in mountain and road bikes. New wheels require 40 seconds to be changed. In road races, teams prefer to change the bike instead. Weird times.
this is mountain biking, you HAVE to focus on the singletrack sections. This was all paddock racing and boring af. Step up your game and I'll subscribe, but if coverage stays like this, I'll pass thanks.
Val di Sole is just around the corner, marking the mid-point of the XCO and XCC season! Who can you see taking the top step in Italy this year?
Thank you! ❤
We really appreciate your work 👍
MVDP or Pidcock, if they will race. Anyway, well let's win anybody, but not Schuter.
XCM? Don’t forget the “real” races.

That's the highlights for you
@@andrewgoudie2238its the same on the live feed.
I think it was just a case of them having off days on a climber's course.

That is and always was the case in all races, whether MTB, road or cyclocross. That is just how it is...
Thank you for this film! 👍

The commentating from Bart is good. That scottish or Irish guy is worse that fingernails scraping a chalkboard
very good, but I liked it when EVERYTHING was broadcast on youtube
Wonder if those bikes are 30” tires o so? Those tires looks way bigger everytime i watch pro xc race

cam orr with a mega ride
Where's Nino? 😮
No tenía ganas de competir
P.21, not his best day. It seems that sometimes, he is human!
I think he's said that he kinda has to pick and choose the races he can win now that he's older. Some tracks just won't suit him as much
@@Memo07Rex
And yet he was racing. “No tenia ganas...” my arse!
What's with Flückinger's doping conviction?
Swiss olympic disciplinary body decided the test result should not be counted as a positive doping sample…hmmm.

Quick release wheels might not settle in properly and it was just a poor example of a wheel change
😊
That commentator needs to make the bare minimum of effort here, which is learning to pronounce the names at least passably
Dubau really lost it
The intro takes too long🥱
Nino is either having the worst day of his life or he was as juiced up as possible last week (I'm not a hater just saying)

A very dull course.
lol wut? They had them go down the tree section of the downhill race!
See kids, doping does pay off. 🤬
That's funny, did not know gravel racing had world cups now.
Luckily almost all of them brought their full suspension gravel bikes. Lol
