I wish there were more draft choices for be a pro... like playing in the minors again or even a full season in Europe or even having the choice to sign contract or refuse to sign.
@@kingknightboss It's not the exact same game.. because in nhl 21 you could play two years in the minors before going to the draft.. that's what I'm referring to. You can't do that with NHL 22.
The fact that EA completely removed the ability to get sent down to the minors is absolute trash. You shouldn’t be terrible and get to play in the NHL, I want a realistic game where you spend 5 years in the AHL before making the jump
funny that now we are at the point where goodness of game is decided by things like this. ive also tried this and i hate it so much. but then if i wasnt drafted and was kicked out next is be asking for the game to add beer leagues where i can spend rest of my life between my boring job in washing food factories by night and playing beer league in the evenings. sometimes participate in a tournament where my worst rival Doug is scoring against me and telling me how my old Honda is rusting. if EA cant deliver that scenario in the game then they are lazy and the game sucks. then through a lucky break i could get high enough reputation that some team hires me as an assistant coach or zamboni driver
@Ibrahim Sohaib yeah NHL 20 was the last time you could play a full season in the OHL. That got taken out in NHL 21 and the only options you had left is play in the Memorial Cup, play in the champion's league tournament in Europe or start in the NHL.
You can go undrafted by selecting the NHL team instead of starting the juniors. You will be undrafted then but at least you can play for a team you like and dont need to platy for shitty teams like Buffalo or Seattle.
Try it for a goalie and let in every single shot you faced

You can play in the minors. Although really hard, I did it in NHL21, which is the exact same game

U just have to sim the games I usually start in Europe and after sim it’s pure luck which position you get drafted

Don't go to memorial cup, go to full season, it's inpossible to get undrafted in memorial cup
