Hymn to the Vena is a translation from Rig Veda which is a collection of 1000 hymns of praise composed in Vedic Sanskrit. I kinda feel proud that Billie put this segment from ancient Indian culture in her song 🙌

It seems he's boldly going where no man has gone before. Haunting, beautiful and obviously a great inspiration for much of Britten's music.
