Hello my beautiful souls!
To your attention, hereโs a new dark vampiric composition with a bit of dramatic flare, that I called โDarkness Shall Bind Usโ.
An oddity of nature has no place in the world of ordinaries, as the normal laws - both of universe, and men - bend and warp around it, so as not to besmirch themselves in its abnormality. People choose not to acknowledge its existence, push it out of their reality, and shun it, haunt it into the part of the world they choose to avoid - the darkness.
Fear and hatred proved to be ample nourishment because the Prince of Darkness grew strong and fierce. Vain was his search, however, for another who would be willing to share his endless wander.
But the river of life kept flowing, and centuries passed, burying all what was real under the sand. The time cut him off from the world. His people went extinct, his lands morphed, and even the word of his existence sank into oblivion. And do you really exist if there is no witness to your life?
So, Dracula became the keeper of history that now lays in the dust on the beaten ground.
Eventually, the fabric of reality began to slip through his fingers, and Prince grew weary of doubts and uncertainty of his own existence. So he decided to throw himself into the centre of bubbling human world, and set foot in the loudest, fastest and the most morally diverse place he could find.
Then a moment came, when through that mass of greyness, that shapeless crowd, that pot of boiling emotion and unspoken fear, emerged a face - a beautiful untouched memory, a reminder of the life long forgotten, and the confirmation of his sanity! How could he not have pursued that ghost of the past, and not grabbed that lifeline that universe had finally thrown in front of him?

I absolutely love the touch of cimbalon notes you used at the beginning of the composition.
