I struggle with knowing which is correct. I just go with the side I think looks right. I’m probably wrong a lot.😁

So happy you showed how to make your lace journal cover with Amazon packaging! I haven’t tried that yet, and you made it look so easy! Worth trying! I was surprised you didn’t sew down the cover piece, or the lace pockets..? Does it hold up without stitching them down? Just curious. Watching from Canada, Gilly.

The fabric tac glue seems to hold the fabric really well without sewing it.

I typically use Fabri tac with lace and fabrics. 🙂

Pretty Cover but I do not think that I would like the crinkle noise that the amazon insert makes when you open and close the cover.

Yes, some people love the crinkle while others are annoyed by it. 🙂

I typically create my covers using a 9x12 piece of fabric or card stock.
