This Plane (M-OBIL) actually made a visual swing on 04 from 36C common procedure in EHAM. Still I think the best decision was from the pilot to just disconnet.
@@jesperdiercks981 well either way, the wind velocity is 10kts so it still can’t exceed his limit - even when coming from the most unfavorable direction. Yes he seemed to be on a power trip, showing everyone on vatsim what a badass sim pilot he is
Not at all in this case, if the runway is not in use and is not part of the ATIS or procedure, there's no exception unless absolute emergency. His case isn't valid and it's no issue for him to go around and do otherwise. He just likes to be a pain in the arse to people.
Sadly, I also experienced rude behavior from German ATC's in Duesseldorf. Really sad, what is going on. It was the same thing, a real life procedure was NOT accepted by ATC.
Since I don't know the situation, I can't judge, but it does happen that ATC seems rough... You just never know who hasn't listened or followed instructions before, how exhausting his session has been so far. You know the answers from pilots like "my autopilot...", "I don't know this waypoint".... And sometimes you have the feeling that you have landed in the center of all the crazy people there are and they are all flying there you are right now and ATC is knocked out. Ive spent +4000 hrs on Vatsim and i never want to be ATC ... im happy that i can jump in my plane and get somewhere else when the hell comes up :)
@boeingvsairbus9372 It doesnt matter for shit if its a real life procedure or not. If atc says no it clearly means no. Its nowhere rude if the atc rejects a real life procedure, just accept their decision and deal with it. Its always the atc who has the last word and complaining about someone being rude just because he doesnt accept your extra wish sounds insane to me...
you're a clown. This is VATSIM, the controller has the last say, even in real life. If a real controller denied the procedure, the real pilot would have to accept that and do as the controller said. For example, I don't care if you want to perform the circle to land procedure at manchester, you'll be causing issues for other pilots and the easier thing is to vector you normally from the stack. Just because something exists IRL doesn't mean you're entitled to it whenever. The ATC make the decisions, not you. It's completely realistic to be denied a non standard procedure like this, grow up and accept the decision, and get off vatsim if you can't. Hope you don't fly anymore
Then never go to EHAM Amsterdam when Mark is controlling. Controller with an attitude that is not ok and likes to talk shit to other and loves the power. He is a good controller , but his attitude and how he speaks to other is among not ok at all and should been walloped. Have filed in a complain to Amsterdam, and after that he changed asap
And you cannot forget that every Controller went through Weeks, Months if not Years of training and exams to even be allowed to staff a single airport/position as ATC, whereas a Pilot "just" has to answer 15 multiple choice questions that are open book to be allowed to fly any (civilian) aircraft anywhere and anytime they like. So yes in a certain way there is a bit of pride involved in controlling. But as @VonycBin already wrote: As a Pilot you don´t know the whole picture. The controller might have been on duty for several hours (including top down service) talking non stop, filled with pilots with excuses like the ones mentioned or stuff like "sorry my GSX messed up"; "apologies I couldn´t fing a specific taxiway that I was instructed to hold short of, so I just continued" etc. And please remember that the wast majority of Controllers are doing that in their freetime without reallife experience, and during events sometimes handle amounts of traffic the real airport doesnt see in the entire day. And if ATC says no, that means no. Vatsim COC: "no pilot may declare himself to have priority over another". I dont care if both your engines are on fire, your Tail has fallen off and you suffered a decompression, if the Airspace/ATC cant cater your emergency than good luck bringing the bird down offline 🙂
Pilots like him should be suspended for some days to think about if their mindsets are able to participate on vatsim or not.
Sure and laughing at people's mistakes is okay.

Wind is 260/10 and he thinks that exceeds his tailwind component of 10kts when landing on runway 22??
Noe he is saying that the tailwing for him is acceptable for 04. But he is till an asshole

Most average german vatsim moment
average high ego german pilot in the european region
looking irl aint gonna solve any issues lol
Very bad from the pilot but i also learned if a pilot is unable to follow the ATC instruction, the ATC has to append to his situation or am i wrong?
it is not an irl life or death situation just follow the orders

ik ruik nederlands
ik ruik Türk am….
I'm more ashamed for people who laugh at others at VATSIM because they misspoke or didn't read the IFR Clearance correctly.
that's a no-go !
