Thanks very much I'm glad you enjoyed it :) I've been hearing the same thing from a few people where any new films don't seem to appear. But I'm glad you enjoyed the film and your more than welcome :)
Hi, Excellent job at Oxford. I just missed you as i had a day at Reading recording the HST Power cars before they are replaced. I was on the next 165 after the Gbrf 66 as i saw it roar through Didcot and Banbury. The new Reading was amazing, certainly the most modern and stylish i have seen. You will have no trouble getting a coffee there as the shops are everywhere. Disappointing i didn't see a class 800 but happy i got a bag of class 43's.
Thanks very much I'm glad you enjoyed the film. You would've seen the Old Oak Common liveried HST go through Didcot then if I'm not mistaken :) Reading is an amazing station and your quite right it has to be one of the best looking modern stations going. I asked GWR on twitter that day of any 800's were running and apparently they weren't that day. The good thing is you caught plenty of 43's
Yep..missed that one...The word at Reading is that GWR are not too happy with there new 800's as they cannot keep to the timetable of the HST's. Quite amazing considering the age of the HST.
That was an interesting shed at the end there Jarred, hopefully Oxford gets even better with the EWRL, I thoroughly enjoyed watching, up to the usual high standards, keep up the good work and a like from me as alwyas
I have to admit when I checked what was coming through before I started filming I was really excited to see that it would be a GBRF working, although I wasn't expecting a driver change so that was a nice added bonus, and of course one thing you will notice with any GBRF loco is how clean they always seem to be when you compare them to the likes of DB Cargo UK or Freightliner
Freight stop and depart was nice, such a busy yet quiet station. Watch-out for those Cam' hungry Trains hissing for Close-Ups. More birds, Ha,haha! Yeah, great work and Mind The Gap. B.P.
Catching the 66 at the end came out better than I had thought it would, I really enjoyed my time here the station is just busy enough to keep you going, even with the Chiltern sets hissing at me lol
As far as I'm aware, 221136 didn't lose a carriage due to a fire damage; they actually removed two carriages (one from 221136 and one from 221140) to fit them to 221144 (which until then used to be a stored 2-car Voyager) and bring that unit back into service. :)
I'm purely going off what I've been hearing about that unit. Because as you say I've also heard about it having vehicles taken out to put into others :)
Good video but poor Oxford stations old canopies luckily Oxford are getting new canopies and there's going to be the east west rail link that is using the old varsity line
If they had services from London Paddington to Oxford that continue up to Birmingham, do you think it would be better for them to go via Leamington Spa and Coventry. Then terminate at New Street as opposed to Moor Street?
New Street is already far to crowded in terms of passengers passing through and the amount of trains coming into and out of it. So for that reason I would have to say that it is better for them to stay at Moor Street as they have the space available for the trains
Well in relative theory it should be next year when the electrification reaches Oxford however with the way things are going with Network Rail they'll end up just cancelling the whole thing and just focus on getting to Cardiff
I have a question, does Oxford stn face North & South or East to West as departing GWR sets to Paddington seem to go South whereas the Chiltern services to Marleybone seem to go North ?
Oxford faces North and South, the GWR trains will run south back to London via Didcot Parkway and Chiltern Railways will head north to London Marylebone via Bicester Village and then along the Chiltern Mainline towards London
Great video and yeah this one was not on my list again so that is why i didn't see it on release day. Enjoyed it as always! Thanks for comments back

Wow this station has super long platforms!
Would be perfect for the 700 series.
Freight stop and depart was nice, such a busy yet quiet station. Watch-out for those Cam' hungry Trains hissing for Close-Ups. More birds, Ha,haha! Yeah, great work and Mind The Gap. B.P.

Good video but poor Oxford stations old canopies luckily Oxford are getting new canopies and there's going to be the east west rail link that is using the old varsity line
oxford is currently getting revamped with new canopies and more station facilities
The old varsity line split up and some of line are closed

When will GWR electrification be extended to Oxford?
Well in relative theory it should be next year when the electrification reaches Oxford however with the way things are going with Network Rail they'll end up just cancelling the whole thing and just focus on getting to Cardiff
Hello Tornado
Hello there
I have a question, does Oxford stn face North & South or East to West as departing GWR sets to Paddington seem to go South whereas the Chiltern services to Marleybone seem to go North ?
Oxford faces North and South, the GWR trains will run south back to London via Didcot Parkway and Chiltern Railways will head north to London Marylebone via Bicester Village and then along the Chiltern Mainline towards London
