Billy Kametz will always be Asmodeous to me but I feel that I can rest easy with Stephen Fu in the role. He nailed Naofumi and is now doing Asmodeous Alice justice as well
There's no denying that both Kametz and Fu were just simply perfect for back to back roles. Personally, I think that's extraordinarily rare to witness. Kametz left behind a lot of roles and I hope that Fu will fill them all. Especially a certain character role that I hope one day gets recognition for it's amazing remake of an old story that has been constantly remade for every generation to see.
You know, back then I was really impressed on how great Stephen Fu was by filling in for Billy as Naofumi in Shield Hero S2, but now I’m even more impressed on how incredible his performance as Alice is, it’s pretty spot on tbh. I’m sure Billy would be proud.
Funny thing, Stephen Fu is also a my hero academia voice actor. he voiced seiji shishikura (the very serious shiketsu high school student who can manipulate raw flesh that fought denki, eijiro and katsuki during the provisional license exam arc) and more currently yoichi shigaraki (the first holder of one for all and all for one's little brother).
it makes sense to replace him with stephen considering he replaced him on shield hero but it sounds simular it just wont be the same for everyone whos watched it since the first episode but for the people starting it now they more than likely wont tell the difference
Why do I get the feeling that Azs bloodline magic has a lot to do with love? Remember Asmodeus is the demon prince that rules over the Lust Circle in the Ars Goetia. So chances are once his Bloodline Magic is active, everyone regardless of gender will more than likely fall in love with az. And that's why he doesn't use it.
And no, its not to do with falling inlove. Plus they have potions for that there. I wished to see Iruma inlove with azz for just a little while though-
Well, since Billy Kametz played Takuto Maruki, aka Dr Snacks, what does that make Stephan Fu when he plays Maruki when there’s an anime, Dr Entrée, or maybe Dr Meal, Dr Lunch or Dr Dinner, or better yet Dr Breakfast?😅
Ahh I was searching for a clip of the dub to see how Stephen does as Azz! I have to say it’s pretty good! I’ll always miss Billy as Azz but Stephen is pulling his weight! Though it does sound like he slightly has an accent? Maybe I’m just crazy lol

It's maybe the hyperness that Billy gave AzzAzz that doesn't stick over, but it's a good voice still.

Stephen Fu sounds pretty good. Obviously replacing Billy Kametz isn't easy for two of his best anime roles but Fu was a good choice.

This is one of those times were the yaoi ship between two male characters actually seems more likely then any of the actual canon options
