My dream home would be a nice cottage nestled in the Scottish Highlands near to a loch with mountains all around, and a nice real fireplace with a comfy chair and a well stocked drinks cabinet
Love a walk that ends with a castle! My dream home would be something art deco, but complete with all the correct period furniture too. With either a view of the sea, or an old heritage railway with steamtrains in the distance (close enough to see, but not close enough to ruin any laundry hung out to dry!) also with a really good bakery/deli within a 10 min walk. P.s I know someone who owns a flat in one of those buildings you didn't like It's nicer on the inside with the views of the tower.. but agree the outside could be improved!
Love your watercolours. Funnily enough my dream home would be not far from where you walked. Normans Bay ….on the beach. I can see Eastbourne in the distance from where I currently live.
I did a similar walk to this back in March- my main memory is the weird white garden horse! Dream house- mildly haunted lovely cottage with at least one panelled room with an open fire and a nice garden with a large pond. Has to be within easy reach of the sea, in Norfolk, Hampshire, Dorset or Devon. Nice one...
You walked right past our old weekend holiday flats. Thanks for the memories...lots of them... around that whole walk down to Pevensey. Made me smile the whole way throughDream home time would be on the top of a cliff looking out at the ocean around Tintagel or anywhere of course on the iow with a sea view stretching miles into the distance & not a soul in sightx J x
Dream home~small, cosy & quirky with fascinating chimney pots, like the ones in the Mary Poppins movie. Beehives, wildlife pond & an apple orchard. By the sea & near The Golden Cap, Dorset or the West Wight. Zoltar=darn charlatan! 🦉
Lovely stuff. There's a pretty brutal 15 mile circular walk from Jevington out over the Seven Sisters, into Eastbourne and back to Jev. Views galore, but my word does it hurt. When you described your dream home it sounded to me like you just need to buy Norris Castle. Ticks most of the boxes! I see one of the coastguard cottages up on Culver Down was recently for sale. That would be a cool place to live.
After living in a van for the last 6 years 🤔 I think our dream home would be a nice little cottage with a big garage and somewhere nice and quiet but good for walks 😉
Thank you, Coolest of Dudes! I did enjoy that. I have happy childhood memories of Eastbourne & Pevensey Castle & my great aunt Gladys's orange & lemon curd tarts. I would introduce you to her but, alas, she could only feature in one of your haunted walks as a guest ghost. I identified with your reflection on finding Eastbourne's benches more appealing as you get older. My experience was when looking at shoes in a shop window: I did not think "They look cool!" but "They look comfy!" Oh, and your poem was much better than that p.o.s forever emblazoned on the wall!
@@cdwc The council should cough up for an AI of Richard Burton reciting it outside the station to new visitors with the melody of "I vow to thee my country" playing in the background.
Lovely walk, lovely painting! Sometimes I play 'forest rain sounds' to sleep, and in my mind I build a dream cabin in the woods, with comfy old furniture but excellent appliances. Nice views but the windows aren't too big because horror movies always have those floor to ceiling ones which just turn black at night and they can't see out but they're on full view to the murderer/s outside. My dream forest home would be sans murderers
I'm up for living anywhere as long as it's peaceful. 2:32 A haiku I think? My turn: cool dudes walking club, a keyring for all seasons, subscribing a must.
Hi Marek, I’d love to see the card that Zoltare would give to sunglasses Marek 😂 as for my dream home I’d love a modernist abode on the beach by Bembridge lifeboat station…..perfection 😍
I have very recent and fond memories of Eastbourne, the seafront and Pevensey. I’ve moved away temporarily, but would like to come back some day. There’s a lovely coffee shop near the bandstand which is nice to stop and enjoy the seafront. The fish and chips from the pier aren’t too bad either!
Id love an off grid cabin tucked away, anywhere far away from people 🤣 be self sufficient as much as possible.. spend my days crafting, walking.. reading books by the log burner.. hmmm.. maybe one day 🤞😆
We would live by the sea, with rolling hills behind us, an airfield close at hand that only handles light aircraft. With a moderate climate and not too crowded. However my own home in Somerset is well situated.
Dream home-condo with a view above a cafe near a trolly stop not far from an old bookstore on the fringe of the theater district of a historic college town where it snows every Christmas Eve and artists paint abstract street scenes outside the rustic theater where the host one of those 48 hour film festivals every year.
Oh, could this day get any better? First finally the Christmas holiday is booked (first time away this year) tree has gone up this arvo and a cool dude snuck on there...pics coming (also will get to stowaway to Norway) and now a new CDWC video. Never stop piggybacking the holidays its the best way 😅 have a similar bed story when away with my parents at a hotel the extra bed put in was definitely child sized, think I was about 34 at the time. 😂 ..now back to watching.
OH MY DAYS!!! My old stomping ground ❤ the family amusements used to be a night club called the odyssey where I spent most of the late 90’s in a drunken haze 😊 Dream location is Bembridge, currently making do in Ventnor 😬
I guess by this point in my life I have a very boring question of the day answer. A five bedroom fully detached home with secure doors, privacy fences, enough parking for three cars (in case we have visitors from out of town) on a quiet street with quiet neighbours in the city I currently live (which is a place with half a million people). Oh and for the views? I would love a forest being the main view from my office so I can watch storms and snowfalls without there being people ruining the visual.
Jen: Cottage surrounded by trees, with a beck, in the lakes district. Must me at least 1 mile from nearest neighbour. Mike: old post office in Bredons Norton. family house of my great uncle
A new meaning to the old surfers phrase 'hang ten'. My personal living choice would be able to buy and convert to habitable condition, Appley Tower. I think you know it. Just a little fantasy of mine, one I've had for about 57 years, ish.
Nice one Marek! Dream home? It would have to be one of those swanky old houses surronded by Trees in Bonchurch , one with a sea view. Though tbh, anyw house on the iow would make me deleriously happy.
The developments near Sovereign Harbour are some of the most depressing things I've ever seen and they have the audacity to put signs up all about the flora, fauna and history of the area.
I pick stuff from the UA-cam audio library that is copyright free. So over the years I have downloaded a whole collection of things. Sadly there is not enough classical music on there.
A nice coastal walk, but alas doesn't show fully the dreadful disrepair that the local Council have allowed to happen along the promenade. Believe me, it is not longer a thriving holiday town.
I applaud the total absence of Pigeons on this walk
I agree cool dude.
My dream home would be a nice cottage nestled in the Scottish Highlands near to a loch with mountains all around, and a nice real fireplace with a comfy chair and a well stocked drinks cabinet
Excellent and a shelf full of good books.
And no midges
Yep. Good book in one hand, pint of wine in the other.
Love a walk that ends with a castle!

Thank you. I will have to check out Normans Bay.
My dream home is a lighthouse like in Round The Twist
Pretty Cool
Nice one cool dude. I like Eastbourne, it’s a lovely little place and an over looked place

I would like to live in Norfolk too. The coastal path is excellent.
Mum deffo wanted to give you the middle finger instead of the thumbs-up🤣
twit-to-you, wise owl😄
Absolutely gorgeous work my friend! Another brilliant episode 👏👏
Thanks cool dude.
Nice One Cool Dude!👌👍👍👍
Murky Marek meander. Always worth the watch 😊
This should be the new name of my channel

Glad you enjoyed it Judy. I agree with you on having a sea view.
Dream home would be on the edge of a forest, near the sea but also near London. Not much to ask.
I spent 21 years in London and don't miss it at all cool dude.
Dream home~small, cosy & quirky with fascinating chimney pots, like the ones in the Mary Poppins movie. Beehives, wildlife pond & an apple orchard. By the sea & near The Golden Cap, Dorset or the West Wight. Zoltar=darn charlatan!

I agree with you about the dream home. A view of the sea is a must.
Love a CDWC notification.
I keep on forgetting to tell people to ring the bell!
@cdwc nothing better than getting one live!
So cool to see you in my home town!
It was great. Have you been to see Zoltar?
My dream is to go back to living on a narrowboat on the canals like we used to - one day! Or anywhere on the Isle of Wight of course
I think I'm not tidy enough to live on a narrowboat
@@cdwc you don't have to be tidy, just okay about living in a muddle (a bit like anywhere as far as I'm concerned)

I did the Seven Sisters on the last day of the South Downs Way, it was brutal.

Id like a nice cottage in a country village with a pub within walking distance . I had this once upon a time.
Yes. I think somewhere quiet with space around would be great. Here everything is getting built on by greedy property developers.

dream home. catamaran sailing around Thailand
Pretty cool dude.
Good one!
i Like doing the Pevensey ghost walks 😀
I must do one of those.
I haven't had a packet of Skips for over 25 years, and now I strangely want one.
It was my first pack for about 20 years too. It was absolutely delicious.

Hope you enjoyed your walk Marek! Shame i didnt spot you! I live in Eastbourne 😄😄😄
Yes I did enjoy it. I can't believe I forgot to go to the stationary shop that is there though!
I would live in a cottage in Portmerion where I would not be a number but a free man.
I would like to visit there one day.

Was there a blue plaque commemorating the 1958 Milligan/Sellers/Secombe Pevensey Bay disaster?

That would be a cool place for a nightclub.
The man who owns the website domain for my name is a tea dance organist in Eastbourne, I'll be keeping an eye out for him in the vid.
He didn't make the edit.

Watching storms from indoors is great.
Fun(?) fact: Eastbourne is also home to the Towner Gallery, which houses several pieces by one of my favourite artists - Eric Ravilious.
I love his stuff.
Dream home would be any property on the beach at Dungeness. Or in the centre of Bath. You should do a walk at the former. Stunning area, CD!
