Darjeeling, The Queen Of Hills. And it is called so for a reason. You will find a string of mountains creating a fascinating backdrop, no matter where you go in Darjeeling. The Kanchenjunga obviously is the cherry on the cake!
DAY 01
- Arrive in Darjeeling
- Check in the hotel & rest (Check my video for the hotel with the BEST view. Ask the hotel for a balcony room!)
- Head to Kunga Restaurant for lunch (dish suggestions in video)
- In the evening head to explore the Mall Market around this hotel
DAY 02
- Wake up at 3:45am & head to Tiger Point for sunrise
- Come back to your hotel & rest for a while
- Have Breakfast from Keventers.
- Or head to Glenary's Cafe for an English breakfast
- Visit a tea estate
- Visit a Tibetan Refugee Camp near tea estate (you can buy great local souvenirs here)
- Take a toy train ride
- Visit Japanese Peace Pagoda
