Update, Your video sold me, being contractor well finish carpenter need better tools and yes extension cords. I am in the works of a custom cord made, the customer lady was extremely nice and listens to you needs. Unreal , world class at best. I name dropped your channel.
Now that is one cord worth bragging about. I am considering Yellow Jacket and Flexzilla, want bright colors to prevent homeowner from tripping on the cord, now to check into this company
We are sold. After purchasing a new electronic mower and after reading all the mind numbing info on amps + AWG (wire gage) we were pretty sure a 14 AWG extension (base on manufacturing) is what we needed… that said, with some reservations. AMPS should not be taken lightly. Failed motors, over heating extensions and wiring, not to mention fire are all things my dad cautioned me over… and over as a kid. So while 14 gage was OK, we are also looking at 100’, which is also a serious consideration. So with all that said, I want our mower to be well care for and provide optimum power for all conditions and last for a desirable life. 12 AWG is what we choose and since we need a product, a Home Depot off the self basic off brand or Amazon best price extension was not desirable. After all, to do the job right, you need the right tools. This video helped me make the right decision. Besides the reported Great customer service (critically important to me) this product is highly rated with a few cool options. …and it’s USA made. We just purchased a Bad Ass 100’ 12 AWG extension with locking connections. Thank you for the honest review.
If anyone is interested, you can also buy the pro lock cord ends separately. I wouldn’t recommend putting a $60 end on a $40 cord though. DeWalt makes it’s own 12/3 and 10/3 cords that have locking ends too. I hope that the DeWalt cords are as reliable as the one you have.
What's the best three 50-100ft extension cords that's has over 1,800w and 15-20amps and don't over heat and can handle cold weather because I'm using these extension cords for a generator ?
Are you happy with the flexibility of the cord when it is cold out? I’m debating on your cord or the cold weather but the cold weather doesn’t have the locking connector.
You just cost me $160, just ordered the 100' 10/3 version of the same cord style you have. It's cool you can have printing done for free, North Lansing Against The World. Thanks
We use it everyday at the jobsite and it’s great. I’ve sprayed the auto lock mechanism with penetrating oil from time to time over the last few years. It’s been trouble free
Your video and the Bad Ass Extension Cords website made a sale. I've been shopping for a 100 foot 10/3 or 12/3 for several hours over two days, getting more and more entangled in lousy websites run by Google, Amazon, Lowe's, Home Depot, and more. BAEC has the ONLY website that actually had RELEVANT filters that WORK. I checked off "100" and ... brace yourself for this, you may never see it elsewhere ... POW! ... the website DISPLAYED ONLY 100-FOOT CORDS! Compare that to Amazon, which included NO filter for "100" and instead showed 90 products, not all of which were extension cords, sorted in no useful order whatsover. It's no fun to rant, yet I'm fed up ... as everyone should be ... with wretchedly designed websites that waste billions of customer hours per year in searching for specific products. So, I happily spent almost $100 more for a Bad Ass cord. No, I'm not rich ... did I mention "fed up?"
You will not be disappointed with it! I have had my blue one from the video outside for over a year to hook up my tool trailer every night and it is still tip top. They make a nice cord!
A little pricier than others.. but.. c’mon.. not that much... if 10-20 bucks is too much extra.. then you need a new job.. an extension cord will last you decades

Yellow jacket cords are very nice. You can’t go wrong with a quality cord. I also like the Rigid orange and clear cords.
Oh, Hell! Now I want to throw away all my cords and get these! Outstanding product!
Yes! They are legit! You won’t regret buying a nice cord!
THANK YOU FOR ALL THE LINKS AND INFORMATION YOU WROTE IN THE VIDEO DESCRIPTION.

Thats totally competitive w/ home depot RIDGID cords so very good price for all you get!!
I'd love to see how the locking mechanism works after getting muddy, dirty, and wet a few times.
Perfect. Works Fkn Perfect. Had mine for at least 3 years, and it was used when I got it.
Do you know if this is made in China or the USA

I wonder if this is made in the USA and if it’s the same as what Obsessed Garage is selling?
I think it is the same cord. From all of the info I have gathered. They are made by a small team in CA
Since your review that cord has increased in price by *30%*
With all those features I would happily pay the price for 100ft of 12guage cord
They no longer list custom cords as an option
I got one how do you store 100’ of their thickest line omg this things is all over my garage lol looking for storage solutions
Daisy chain
