Well I had 335k dmg in ranked few days ago with Montana. Monty is so much better compared to legendary Yamato I have. Yamato almost always overpen for me, while Monty puts nice, even citadels + 12 guns instead of just 9. Playing Iowa now before I reach Montana.

That is true in second, and third salvo, but not in the first (after thousands battles of my own experience hitting straight in the nose on flat trajectory is asking for a wasted shot, cuz almost all, if not all shells will bounce), when the Yamato nose is a HUGE, natural angle on its own. For me in first salvo he was just lucky, especially when he played all match very bad (or another player take controls in the last minutes of this battle). He wasted a lot of opportunities for citadels, and wasted also a lot of hp for nothing. But that is only my opinion.

Is everybody having slow react speed or is there any theories? In WOT, we have to use it as soon as possible bc HP value is important. Why WOW player seems like: "Nah juz burn me I dont fckin care"
the Yamato can be citadel rather easy just behind the second gun at the waterline, there is basically a flat bit of bulkhead armor you can't angle. enemy Yamato was aiming at angled belt armor so the shells just bounced off.
I dont understand , at the end , 2 Yamato face to face . One with 7718 PS , the ennemi with 94018 PS . Yamato ennemi , 3 shoots : 2442 , 1480 and 2255 damage ! Our Yamato : 39368 , 29452 , 25450 damage ! really, I dont understand !!!!!!!
If you check Armor lines on ships, just like on a tank, some areas are more Protected than others (usually the front and sides are protected, while the rear section is not as armored). Angling the Armor also counts, as shells can just bounce off instead of penetrating. Opposite to that, each ship has a vulnerable area housing its machinery and ammunition stores, the Citadel. It's normally very well protected, which is why a Citadel hit does not guarantee an instant elimination by detonation. It is possible to hit the magazine and blow up the whole ship, but it very rarely happens. What you saw here was that one player aimed his shots at the enemy Citadel and got good penetrations. He fired 3 salvos each with a Citadel hit or two. Meanwhile, the enemy fired head-on at his side-armor belt line, along the hull, so the shots just glanced off or did reduced damage. He should have aimed better or even fired at the superstructure, would've taken him out no problem.
and the opponent harugumo failed, you do not suicide in a dd in ranked in a win fight, cause you team would take any chances to throw the victory away, especially with such questianable play of two bbs and two cruisers in you fleet.
Yes, many people play this game. Sailing is quite fun and the weather and graphics make it enjoyable. It's still grindy, since it's free to play, but that's fine.

Ебанутая игра. Пока на старте все противники бортоходили - одни рикашеты и сквозняки. Когда в конце стали ставить ромб и лоб - начали вылетать сплошные цитадели. Понравилось как Демоен в конце танконул первый залп словив рикашеты а сам ББхами выбивал урон с ромбующего Ямато. Понравилось как он же выбивал фугасами кучу дамага в начале плюс вешал пожары в то время как сам тупо стоял бортом и спокойно танковал ББ Ямато.

angulation is everything in battleships
Citadel(or something like that) is the most damage giving part of a ship and out yammy hit there multiple times while enemy didn’t hit Citadel
