Today is my 21st birthday and I’ve been drinking a little and it’s been making me look at all the anger and pain I constantly carry around. At times I feel ashamed of it and have to hide it while other times I feel the self destructive pull to it and all the pain it causes for others. I’m not religious but sometimes all it takes is to hear the strong faith of another and just that can be enough to inspire the person you really are, not your demons that try to run your life and guide your actions. Thank you for these beautiful videos.

I took my son to Ireland when he was 12. Most beautiful place I have been. Went to Skellig Micheal. The island 40 mins off the coast. It’s from the scene in Star Wars with the loooong steps. Absolutely amazing that that place exists. Those monks built it not sure how long ago

The hardship must have been unreal. As far as I can remember, it was first inhabited in the 5th or 6th century. Lasted a few 100 years before it was abandoned.
As you said, may we never grow weary of doing good - to others, _but also to ourselves._ I’m very happy to know that you are on a path of relief for your lifelong back pain journey and also other care for yourself. Also for me, a series of several separate events of 2022 and 2023 (most of which you know) have put me in a position to see myself and get to know myself better than I ever have. Praise God for our paths 🙏

I’m so thankful to be able to watch this now. The church called me via video call and I was blessed enough to give a sermon through that. It was the first I’ve given since I’ve been hospitalized. The suffering that we endure when we can’t be there with the very souls He entrusts us over is immense. Then you watch these videos and remember that we don’t have to be there. Yes, it is needed. It is even commanded that we not forsake that assembling. We need to understand that there is such a massive difference between forsaking and not being able to be someplace though. Paul’s imprisonment, all of them, would suffice as evidence of that. God understands our situations and where our hearts are. He makes a way when we feel there is no way. When the devil says we can’t, God is right there saying yes you can! He knows we can because it is really Him saying that He can. His omnipresence still amazes me to this day. If I’m blessed enough to see an old age, it will still amaze me then. Glory to Him for being where we can’t be and still allowing us to be of use to glorify Him. I will be praying for your healing. I know we all will. Our faith will be that it is done. I hear a sound of rushing rain.
I thank God that on Sunday I can spend a little time with my sister Dee and this community. I missed yesterday and I really had a hard time. I am glad I could watch on Monday and pray together with you.

This peacetime goes along sublimely with my Sunday, as I'm travel memories lane to when I was a young saint. I got baptized at 17 and remember loosing old friends and gaining all new ones. Better friends in Jesus. It's always gain to go with God over the world.
Just wanted to say Dee that am on a health journey as well. I suffer from chronic pain as well. And i am taking my health journey more seriously after talking to women who have suffered similarly to me. I feel more confident and grounded to tackle my health in a healthy way. If we really trust someone with a thing, then we aren't worried about that thing. If we trust Jesus (the only perfectly trustworthy One) with our lives, then we don't have to worry. We KNOW that, but we're all in the process of truly understanding it. I am so grateful for your encouragement to rest. True faith/trust gives us rest. As someone who has endured chronic pain for 21 years, I experience the indescribable joy and incomprehensible peace that comes from walking by faith and not by sight, every day. I'm also working to better my health and I'll be praying for you on your journey as I am on mine. I hope the love you receive back through our comments refreshes you like your ministry refreshes us!
I've been feeling so much anger in my heart lately... even during Mass today I felt my heart just filled with hatred and no matter how much I pray about it, the worse the anger gets. I've been under a lot of stress as well as physical pain, especially today, and it makes me so sad that instead of shining God's light I just show anger and hate...
I felt the holy spirit when I read this comment and I just wanted to let you know that Jesus loves you and he knows you and he knows your heart, it can be hard to bear the weight of anger but remember that we serve a God who makes everything possible and you can be a miracle of his work too. ❤
