Nathan, I figured some of this out through trial and error. But, I have to say, it's like meeting the friend, who has it all together! All the loose ends and connections, wired in! Thank you! I immediately subscribed! You are like having a huge helpful "plugin" program for my brain, to put it all together, and understand the Whys, and How's! Aloha from Maui!- Coe
Use of a tilt-shift lens tutorial would be incredibly helpful since I have't found a good through explanation of interior photography such as your other ones yet!
I find it difficult sometimes to decide how high or low my tripod should be. I’m hesitant to adjust the legs because I find it difficult to balance and level them correctly on the fly
Where can I get the presets for lightroom that you guys use? I have to shoot some interiors and I'm more of a video guy. Between you and Rich Baum, I've got the lightroom tutorials that I can now work on. Thank you for that. I have Rokinon 12MM and Sony Zeiss 24MM with an a6500, so I'm part way there...just need to buy a flash unit or two. Shooting stills and video of a 32 x16" model racetrack, sort of the ultimate man-cave addition; should be fun. Again thanks for ISO and Lightroom tutorials; this will help my stills work.
Cool vids Mr. Cool!! Very informative!! Keep them coming!! I wanna adapt a wide angle to my sony a7ii for some real estate shoots without breaking the bank, between the 16-28 Tokina, 17-35 Tokina or 17-40 Canon, what would you think would be my best option?
it is a very helpful video, thank you Nathan, what's the type of the Len you used in this video? 14-24? or 24-70? for Real Estate photo, which len is better? thank you again
Thank you for sharing, Nathan! I currently have a cropped sensor dslr (Nikon d5500), but as I am moving more into real estate and interior photography, I am purchasing lens/tripod, etc. Do you think it is also important to upgrade my camera body right now?
Hi Becca, that's a complicated question based on a number of factors. I break down the ins and outs in my first book in my real estate photography series, which should shed enough light on that to help make a decision on camera, lenses, etc. www.amazon.com/dp/B0755KXSL4
Hello Nathan. I am following all of your videos on UA-cam (and Rich Baum, too). I am an amateur who does not do real estate but the lighting techniques are of interest to me. I am learning a great deal from yourself and Rich but one reference has me baffled. The term is MLS. I have looked it up on the internet and it seems to refer to the licensing (I am in the UK) of your images for use in the real estate arena. Would you please include in one of your videos the implications of MLS on your work, for those of us outside the US who do not understand the opportunities or restrictions of MLS? One scenario that I foresee is: you take a photo for Client A in southern California and, legally, that's fine for the client to use. But then the advert for the property goes to Sacramento and so Client A passes your photo onto Client B (Sacramento based). How does this affect your copyright and is this where MLS is tailored to your requirements to prevent copyright infringement? MLS is an unknown area to me and a brief explanation of it would be appreciated. Thanks Nathan. David Bailey, Milton Keynes, UK.

Nathan, Awesome video! How do I activate the "level" function on my Nikon 610? I have a problem keeping level shots. Thanks
Assign the Fn button to "viewfinder virtual horizon"

I have the Tokina 16-28 f/2.8 and use it on a D610. That lens is married to one body...love it, outstanding lens.

Tokina 16-18 f/2.8, it's just 1/3 the price of the Nikon 14-24 and rivals it in quality.
Nathan, do You use full frame camera or APS-C? What lens is best for interior photography for full frame camera?

Hi David, MLS is "Multiple Listing Service": en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiple_listing_service
I can't get both photos to open in Photoshop in ONE document/work space. They open in separate tabs. What am I doing wrong? 😫
"Open as layers" option with both highlighted.
Great video thanks!
What tripod brand are you using? I'm currently in the market for one. I enjoy your videos. 😀
