Sweetness, hehe. These songs are actually kind of boring from a composition perspective, but definitely hold certain nostalgic value nonetheless. I would fully support a remix+medley of Yume Nikki music, were you to create one. Also, I did a video piano cover here on YT of the second piece on your compilation, a while back. =D
I think some others on the FamiTracker forums have covered some of the other tunes as NSF but I can't remember who. They may have posted them on youtube already.... it isn't something I've thought about doing myself.
Not bad at all! In fact it's quite precise! I thought you would do it the other way around - making the other songs into 8-bit format instead. Damn, you really should do it. Or at least the pink lake/Poniko's house so we can have some AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああ
Lol, Somebody seems to be addicted. I also liked the tunes. This really reminds me of Earthbound. Maybe i should play some time eh! Im a huge fan of off the fakin wall games.
@ViperKirby my old hosting is gone but i've reuploaded everything elsewhere. i haven't got around to editing all my videos/changing links yet, but my website's on my profile, hopefully you can find it.
Would you mind creating a key in the video description which associates the time each theme starts with the in-game area or event to which it belongs? That'd be really helpful! =P
I love your 8 bit remixes.
I love Yume Nikki.
Then...
I think I love you. Not in a gay way, but still. This gives me chills of epicness down my spine.
[Vibrates on the floor] It's been a good life
never has existential oblivion been so fun and catchy
I love how literally half of this video is dedicated to that last song
I’m not complaining, it’s a fantastic song

Wow, the degree of accuracy in these is high. Good job! Have you thought of doing the rest of the music in this style?

1:13 is my favorite. Just can't remember which scene it is.
Underworld - Village (Outside) is my favorite.
Your version sounds slightly better than the original.
Awesome!!! Yume Nikki is amazing and so is the, albeit simplistic, soundtrack.
Great job on these.

awesome!
this game has such moving music, but it's all basically a few chords/notes looping. sometimes less is more
Beautifully done...
I love it thank you

I think it’d be cool to see someone make a homebrew rom recreating the Famicom areas, kinda like the homebrew NASU rom.
Oh God, this is awesome. That game scared me more than Doom 3.

Awesome!
@goniochromism Awesome, thanks! =D
OH GOD THE FIRST 20 SECONDS. MONSQUAZ. CANNOT UNHEAR.
@SabreMage good idea. added.
my ears love you.
Good stuff
that's the village areas.
no, famitracker emulates the 2a03 synthesiser internally, no samples required (aside from DPCM samples if one decides to use them.)
